Terry and Carvalho as centre backs and Makelele in front of them to top it off. They rarely conceded shots let alone goals. De gea was making ridiculous saves and winning us points regularly on his own.

You didn't watch Cech from his early days, am very sure, for you to compare with Cech........

The only stuffs De gea got as a Goalie are those magical fast feet and his reflex....... He is not that good with his hands........
His technical abilities are bad, that's why he cant do well in set piece......... Only 2 penalties caught in his Man utd career, ... Any corner kick, is a big issue for him....... Conceeds free kick like mad.... He can't command his surroundings, , bully easily by opponents

He had 25 clean sheets that season, a record that also stands till today, I stands to be corrected but Cech holds the record of the highest number of clean sheet in EPL history. I am not sure but i strongly beleive so. Mind you i am not his fan

Inconsistency breeds confusion and panic in a back line.
A goalie who gives you constant 7/10 is more valuable than one that swings from 9 to 3.

Man Cech also had howlers and Singlehandedly cost his team vital tournaments as well. Check Euros 2008 and 2012. Infact Cech had 4 to 5 seasons of being Ordinary in England at 34 he was finished. You are just blindly praising Cech.

This sums cech up. Now, I'm not saying he's not world class at his prime, but don't make it seem like Ddg at his prime was one kind Leno or Pickford. A keeper that was man u player of the year for 2 consecutive season (I think), speaks volume. A defence of smalling, Jones, ageing young and Valencia, and he was making saves after saves is what you wanna downplay. Yes cech is very good no doubt, but with a back 4 of peak Chelsea with strong MF of essien and makalele, it's easy to see why he kept most clean sheets.

Now I don't want to be misunderstood, I didn't say ddg is greater than cech(that's debatable to some tho). What I am against is ddg no reach cech. That wan na lie lie!!

All of us like him, but guy something is at stake here, Lose top 4 consistently and you wont attract good players and when it continues for years you become a team of also-rans and may decline never to recover.
