100% safe?
Not anywhere in Nigeria. Not even Aso Rock.

Nowhere in the world is 100 percent safe.
Not even the white house.

Remain wherever you are. At least it's safe, that's why you are still alive asking this question.

It depends on your capital. Lagos is far better if you have the rabaa. Lagos will spike your spirit to hustle and never find yourself in a dull moment. Abuja can make one believe there is a bag of cash along the road that you will pick up one day. Lagos you will learn howto wake up in time and jump enter bus even if you have a private car you can't avoid buses or keke. Everything here is on the high side. House rent and cost of living. But if you have family kindly find somewhere at Zuba and stay and avoid much Lagos wahala. But it's nice here oooh, every weekends dey like Christmas oooh.

Someone was telling me just yesterday that thieves even steal water tanks and big generators in Abuja.
P.S. She was born in Abuja and she still resides there

Hmm this is a tough one

Abuja is upcoming and is generally peaceful if you stay in the good areas, you see the satteliite towns around abuja such as gwarinpa, ( to an extent ) bwari lga, mapo, them areas you will be on your own oooo, there are some places that are not meant to be called abuja but are still called abuja so security wise you willbe on your own

Lagos is a mad city, too many people, traffic would drive you mad, for serenity and peace of mind, i still think abuja would be better

Lagos is basically island, vs mainland , once you are not on the island, or in ikeja or gbagada then o boi you are simply wasting your time living in lagos, too much people,

I will recomend abuja in the end cos Lagos is gonna self destruct one day

Abuja to Lagos anyday anytime.. though I grew up in Lagos but coming to Abuja in year 2000 opened my eyes to serene and tranquil life here. However, Abuja is getting crowded due to lagosians flooding here on a daily basis.

I wish someone like el rufai is appointed minister of FCT to destroy shanties and chase useless people in Abuja. Those guys are making Abuja less secured and are the cause of one chances and theft.

Overall, Lagos for fun, Abuja more secured.

Chase natives out of their land abi?

I grew up in Lagos, surulere to be precise. But presently I stay in Abuja. I came to Abuja in 2015. I will say Abuja is a better option to me, depending on the area you wish to reside in since you said that cash is not your problem. The roads are good, power is okay, housing is okay but expensive. Security, hmm. Security is an issue now, especially in the north and Abuja is not an exception. Overall, I prefer Abuja to Lagos.

Good evening guys, i just want to know which city between Lagos and Abuja is more advisable for relocation.

Now my number one criterial is safety, a residence that is crime free.

I need a location where i know that no matter the political situation of the country, i am 100% save. The Budget is not a problem at all.

All I'm after is safety between Lagos island, lekki and environs and the main Abuja city.
Which is the best for relocation most especially safety from crime.

A city that will give me the modern city feel, security, infrastructure and access to international connect. Like a powerful neighborhood.

You just want us to hear you meanwhile you are here in Lagos. No be you dey live for Ajegunle? I know you inside out, no push me to download your profile here for nigga to read.

You just dey form!!!!!!!!!!!

Abuja is relatively safer than Lagos especially if you're staying around Asokoro or Maitama. Moreover we have more security agents located in those places. Place like Lekki, VI and Banana Island in Lagos are also owk if you can afford an apartment there. However, you will need to be extra security at alert. More so Lagos is also a nice place for beach picnics, shows, and a lot of fun if you are the type that loves to hangout.
But I will always prefer Abuja to Lagos

that's a big lie! Abuja is worse off when it comes to security. the reason people think lagos is less secure is because of stereotype and you know they die hard!

I was gonna mention that o. All that Kaduna-Abuja road is not that safe. Only the high FG security is helping ABUJA for now.

Abuja suffered Boko attack at the UN office, Lagos hasn't.
