FG's confusion is caused by the ASUU' s IPPIS imbroglio and it is evidently affecting salary payment of non-teaching staff.

UPDATE: ASUU is currently holding meeting in each institution regarding the delay in FEBRUARY Salary. If they do not get salary in the next 24hrs, their members are being requested to stop coming to work. This is what the likes of SSANU and the rest cannot dare.

I think for those of us in Colleges of Education and Polytechnics,our leadership should do well to hold a meeting also concerning this delay in our February salary.

I know soon they would pay us shaa.

Besides they can influence university students to cause problems and from Nigeria's history, even military government fear Nigeria students.

Whereas in NASU na so so technicians and artisans full there. Even those of us wey manage go school (university) Don dey reason like them.

UPDATE : our source has it that FG has likely become broke, hence the delay and non payment of February salary in MDAs and federal tertiary institutions. Currently, not all employees in MDAs have received February salary despite being on IPPIS, while no employee has been paid in federal tertiary institutions, either teaching or not teaching.

in fact I tire, hope say no be one chance we enter for this month of March, my in law who works with a research institute got his salary today though the old one as the ippis people have not called to enroll them.

Universities are using different terms to describe this criminal act. The bursary units in schools are in the dark as per this nonsense hence the use of chilling terms to calm their staff.

I don't think if there's paucity of funds that they should start by not paying the university lecturers. They know how volatile those people can be. I think the main issue has to do with the tussle about Ippis between them.
