Obehi44: Hello, I have been very paranoid and curious. Since I have been unable to link my account, and I have been relying on email messenger from my email. I got my medical request on Feb 18, did it on 28 Feb, got Bvl on 5 march and the trend here is that it usually takes 2 weeks after medicals before the Bvl to come. I applied through paper and most applications here are online. My question is that now that I have a BVL, how would I know my final decision since I can't link my account been unable to Would CIC send me an e-mail for approval or what exactly because I haven't seen paper route stories here. Please help educate me guys Also what is letter of correspondence? |

Find a way to link your account by all means so you can know the status... otherwise, you'll be waiting till they send you a mail or your passport.. Guess someone more experienced with the paper route can better advise.. Fatkideric: 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Obehi44: 11:51am On Mar 06, 2020 |
Fatkideric:You have nothing to worry about. Besides you should have been able to link your account my now. There are little errors when linking account online and I guess you have been making those errors that is why you were unable to. Check this tread and you will find the steps on how to link your account. Meanwhile, I have said congratulations and I expect that you start giving praises to God for doing it for you “as long as your BS is not fake” The same way you got a biometric and medical request, that same way you will get your PPR. Your application is settled already and it’s a good one in your favour unless the unthinkable happens. Once again congratulations! 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 12:46pm On Mar 06, 2020 |
Another question please don’t be offended If my dad is the sponsor for my sibling while my mum is my sponsor both with sufficient money but My mom doesn’t have any landed properties ,can I use my mum as my sponsor but still I’ll submit my dads landed properties as part of home ties ? And does CIC know if two siblings are using the same sponsor or it’s handled by different VOs Blema111: |

okikiabdu: It’s good to know couples can submit their applications together. While the main applicant is applying for the study permit, the spouse can apply for sowp and the kids if any. Congrats!

Adetayoade1: There have been similar cases on this tread , in which, an agent used same account for multiple applicants as sponsor. All the applicants was denied. Maybe your case is different, since they are parent to you too, however, if you can wait for each other to submit, I guess it would be cool, whichever way, make sure there is more than enough funds in the account. May your luck shine through |

Thank you very much both accounts are well funded just knowing if I can use my mum as my sponsor and still submit my dad properties because my mum doesn’t have any landed properties Phatkayconcept: |

Hello, I applied to Carleton University Ottawa, late last year, I paid my application fee and early today I noticed a change in my application status, my first choice says deferred late decision required but my second choice says eligible for admission. I don’t really know what next to do, any suggestion will be highly appreciated. |

Fatkideric: Hello Fatkideric, A webform is a channel via IRCC website that you can use to send feedbacks, additional documents, change in sensitive information etc. If I get you correctly, you mentioned you were called for medicals which you already did. It is the duty of the panel physician to send the medical result directly to IRCC and give you an e-medical slip as you copy of the test result. If IRCC are requesting for medicals again, upload or send the e-medical slip via email and webform to them. You can check some pages back for were I pasted their contact details. If they weren't satisfied with the test result, they would requested for you to undergo further examination. Since you said you were not given an e-medical slip, you should go back to the hospital and see if you can get it. If you can't, you have to pay a new medical fees and re-do the examination for the panel physician to be able to send IRCC the test result. You could decide to give it a try by sending IRCC regarding the development that your medicals result has been sent to them, but I doubt if this would be effective and may be time consuming. I don't know if what I have said is the answer you are seeking for, I do hope you can figure it out. All the best 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Obehi44: 2:32pm On Mar 06, 2020 |
Adetayoade1: Something I will like to know is, hope that your sibling is your direct brother or sister with the same parents and the same surename? If the above is YES, then your case is that “our parents are sending us abroad for studies” Therefore my suggestion will be, daddy is the main sponsor and mummy co- sponsor for both of you. I have said this before and I am saying it again, properties does not only limit to empty landed properties. It can be expensive cars, it can be houses(both living in and or rented) etc. This means that same documents can be used for both of you as long as they are still together and have their marriage certificates. One or two family pictures too will help. I wish you luck. |

ishowleck: Hello Ishowleck, If your business account is your only proof of funds, go ahead and use it. This topic has resurfaced here countlessly. It is no doubt that using a business or company account statement "could" be a red flag "to an extent," if not properly justified especially from a "third party." If the sponsor or self-sponsored can demonstrated and prove the level of establishment and a reliable source of funds, using a business account won't pose no risk. Be it as it may seem, not everybody that have a business account owns a personal account. Its advisable to always work with what you have and honestly enlighten the VO on your situation. All the best |

Adetayoade1:He is the first child and you are the 2nd or also one of the children. Of course they have to be different applicants and different applications and possibly different schools too. Still daddy and mummy can sponsor both of us for studies abroad so long as they are capable and can show and prove their capabilities. Why are you worried if they will know? Is there something you are hiding? Two different people, Two different application Only a few documents will be the same since they are from same parents. And please don’t come back to ask which documents lol |

Adetayoade1: Hello Adetayoade1, If your dad is more that capable of sponsoring you and your sibling, with sufficient funds to meet the requirements for the LE and tuition fees for both of you, then there is no problem. Also, in the case were the intends program of both of you is more than a year and can demonstrate he can meet up when due, then no problem. Another thing is that, his closing balance should be sufficient after the deduction of both tuition fees and LE. In this case, to demonstrate his financial capability, he should endeavour to pay at least the first semester or full year's tuition fees and disburse the LE for you and your sibling into both personal account respectively (This is not compulsory and the funds can still be shown inside your dad's BS). Then, the remaining funds in your dad's account can be use to demonstrate his financial sufficiency. Your mom could write a letter of support instead of co-sponsorship pledging her support and if possible, she can also make some financial commitment by transferring a said amount into both you and your sibling's account for miscellaneous expenses or as the case maybe. She can as well decide to only write the letter without commitment. Since she is also financially capable, let her include her BS and other financial documents to support that of your dad even if he his also financially capable. This way, there is a demonstration that both of you are well-established in your home country and that the level of establishment of your family is very solid. Also, other investment, landed properties (evaluate it if possible), joint account etc should be included in additional to both you and your sibling's personal BS to show the paid in funds by your parents (if applicable). The next focus will be to draft a well written and convincing SOP likewise your dad with his LOS and your mum with her LOsupport. The VOs that would handle the applications will definitely know that same account is been used to sponsor two people which won't pose any red flag since both of you are blood siblings. Since the application won't be a joint application, there is huge possibility that the application may be handled by different VOs. Though things can change depending on the circumstances. If you decide to use your mum as your sponsor, she can sponsor you by including the landed property of her spouse (your dad). This is my personal opinion/suggestion. You own your final decision.
