Yes, First Class guys have a very high chance of getting this scholarship, because most of them also have great O'level results and the two points I mentioned gives them high chance of getting the scholarship. Also,most of those guys have several awards ,like best graduating student and other awards.
But,guys just try your best and pray for God's grace,I got the scholarship last year after four consecutive application. All I can say is God's grace because I graduated with Second Class Upper.
I met someone too during our induction,he is from Lagos,he graduated with Second Class Upper.
Guys, just try your best and make your interview superb and pray for God's grace.

I got the invitation email, and I was asked to change my interview location within 24 which I did.
The mail stated that I will receive my interview details in less than 48hours which am still waiting for.

I can relate to this experience my sister. Seeking for the likes of these opportunities almost shattered my hope of attaining to anything worthwhile. But I assure you that we all have our own time to shine. Just keep doing your best and trusting God. I have a litany of failed attempts but it all ended in praise in 2018 after about 6 years of endless struggle. Better opportunities lie ahead, NERVER SAY NEVER!

Sir, good evening, I am so sorry for my late response, not intentional.
I congratulate you and others for making it to this stage, I wish u success in your interview.
As regards the interview tips, I can say nothing much, just master your SOP and be very bold.
U will be asked to submit all documents (Degree Cert, weac, awards, publications,etc) you used to apply, the panel will grade u .
I will advice u to go with everything u used to apply.
Sir, for the awards, even if it was award given to you during your secondary school days, go with it, It is left for the panel to accept it or decline. Last year, some interview panel accepted secondary school awards, while some rejected it. So, pray to fall into good interview panel.
One of the questions the panel asked me was what motivate me to apply for the course I applied for, another question asked was i should tell the interview panel how is the course I applied for is relevant to oil and gas industry.
This question will definitely come up, I can say it is yearly question because for the two interviews I attended, I was asked ( the question is after u finish your master/PhD, are u going to stay abroad to search for job, pls and pls, don't make a mistake by saying yes that u will stay abroad to get job and get experience) pls, tell them that immediately u finish your program, u are coming back to Nigeria, to come and use the foreign knowledge you will acquire to develop Nigeria oil and gas industry., or u can modify your own answer, just let them know that you are coming back to Nigeria.
Another question is that u might be asked (because I was asked) what other skill(s) I intend to acquire when studying abroad.
I hope this little information will be of help?
