Hello house, I graduated 2018, do I qualify for cat A? this cat thing is confusing me, do grades matter when applying for cat A? And if yes what grade? I already applied for cat B to be on the safer side and now I am seeing here that they are going to flush/refresh their list by end of March.

Do I cancel and rebook for cat A(that's if I qualify) or wait for AD since I have booked for cat B already?

Please someone should enlighten me, my school resumes in May.

How's it going? Really sad the stress we have to go through just to get interview dates despite receiving admissions. It is well.
I need some help regarding accommodation @Marburg. I did my interview but the VO said she's not going to process my visa until
I secure accommodation, as she said the hotel booking I did isn't acceptable. I heard it's difficult to rent an apartment in absentia, and that it's best to get a sublet deal for now, which is what I think will suffice so I get my visa on time. Or what do you guys think?
So, in case anyone knows somebody in or around Marburg that can co-rent, please help a brother out.
I believe there's some type of paperwork that would prove I got it so I can forward to the embassy as proof.

During certification of documents at German consulate, do they accept coloured photocopy of documents, since they said soft copy is not acceptable.
My hard copy original documents are not with, i have only the soft copy.
Please have anybody gone with the coloured photocopy or soft copy and it was accepted.

Guy This matter weak person oo, First class kwa, so those who registered for testas can't even use it. This German matter is becoming really hard.

Seems winter last year was a tipping point in this Germany student visa route. It would seem the government raised the standards for student visa eligibility while making it easier for students already in Germany to get a PR with the new migration law which took effect from 1 march 2020.
I dont want to sound like the bringer of bad news but I think this free tuition offered wont last long. Pls do anything you can to improve your chances and keep on pushing.
Also try other European countries. Heard it's quite easy to get a polish visa from Nigeria. Its easier to switch countries in schengen. Wish everyone success
