What exactly do you people gain by arguing on Nairaland on who should or shouldn't be president?


It's very funny seeing people who can't determine who will be their councillors in their own areas coming on Nairaland to beat their chest that they will determine who will be president or which zone will produce the president.

Lagos and Ogun alone control 80% of all Nigeria none oil economy. Apart from Niger deltas, the Yorubas are the second group that controls the money and economy of this great country.

1) You are NOT a card carrying member of the APC or any political party and you have no ideas how political parties operate.

2) You form your opinions about the politics of Nigeria from your personal feelings, perceptions, insinuations and beer parlour rumours but you project these opinions as the undiluted Gospel truths and which others believe them.

3) You have a morbid hatred for the Yorubas in general and Tinubu in particular, whom you hold responsible for any political disadvantages suffered by the Southeast.

4) You desperately wish to see the Yorubas in general and Tinubu in particular suffer and humiliated as 'punishments' for real and imaginary evils they have committed against the Igbos.

5) You see presidential elections as inter-tribal contests.



6) Your purpose(s) for voting in presidential elections is/are NOT based on performances, track record of achievements or anything patriotic but ethno-religious balancing.

2) Yoruba is not a political party but an ethnic group. There are Yoruba politicians in EVERY political party.

You wrongly assume that anymore who is opposed to an Igbo politician must be a Yoruba man and he is doing so because the politician is Igbo.


There are politicians in Yorubaland whose greatest opponents are fellow Yorubas. The same is applicable in Igboland and elsewhere.

3) Political parties and not tribes contest elections.
