NiyiOmoIyunade:
The cells in one 12v battery should not be varying much between OK and FAIR per their SG readings.

They should all read very similar within a narrow SG band.

Might be time to get a temp compensated hydrometer with numeric readings.

Did the electrolyte in the batteries come from thesame source and thesame batch? Did you at any time have a spill or water loss wnd then topped off with additional electrolyte?

What is your equalize voltage per 12v? You should be at or above 15v for any meaningful equalization. It might also be time to break the bank and charge and equalize per 12v standalone.

i have mustpower, i use the equalize knob at .its either 15.1v abi 15.5v, not so sure again

@fan with remote, seems we are many looking for this fan

There are quite a number of options on Jiji.
Below are some I saw after typing 'Dc fan' in the search box. They have a DC port for direct to battery connection, AC/DC adapter and solar panel. You can check out some other ones too.

If you quoted me on this thread just now and were banned, mail the mods at the button of the front page to unban you.
I was also sent to the NL jail for no good reason today. I appealed the sentence and was released. The antispam bot is really crazy nowadays, oga Ceaser can bear me witness. grin

Price and source pls. And will the fan charge it or I need to get new charger?

ceaser:

Bro, except you're using Lithium chemistry batteries, 7ah lead acid batteries will not serve you overnight with all these rechargeable fans dem.

4ah 12v cane with one QASA rechargeable like that and the battery works for only 4hrs after full charge, gave up the ghost on the 3rd month of use. I changed to it an external 7ah 12v thinking I'll get super long working time but battery also died on the 4th month.

Changed things to Lithium 12v 5ah (2,200mah in 3s2p config) and I've had peace ever since.

2ndly looking for the most affordable ceiling fan with remote..

justmanuel, shei alaba na ur area

Got this 12v DC ceiling fan from AE, 10 inches blade I think. Cost around 4 thousand naira. No remote. It blows well too and I think it consumes around 8watts at 12volts.

It's just to observe how long it lasts, cos it's cheap o.

Don't buy it sad

Edit: Since I have now used it for a day, I can actually say it's not so bad just that the quality isn't there..... and not every part fits well together. There is also no much power consumption difference between the fan speeds.

Okay. Thanks.

Is it strictly AC or AC/DC?
Are you able to measure the exact consumption using a measuring device, you can help by indicating the exact consumption or at least the rating printed on its label.

Been to hell and back severally on account that spambot overzealousness.

I type on this thread now as if walking on eggshells. Even quoting someone else's harmless post can earn you time. Funny enough I have that problem only in technology section.

Plug accessories come with the laptop power bank. It's just a DIY case, you'll need to get yourself the lithium batteries - 6 pieces. The box alone costs about 5k5.

You can charge the power bank with solar panel (supports up to 60 watts 18v solar panel) or you can charge it with a regular laptop charger (18v 4amps).

Nice Fan, I set this up for my mum, consume only 5.5 Watts.

Very good for one person on a bed, she is been using it for past 2 years..

I think the low power consumption is more achievable by the fact that the motor is BLDC.

AC and it's rated 50w but consumption when measured is between 49 to 39w from high to low speed.
