Nigerians Would Want To Take This For A Joke. The Government Houses Has Uninterrupted Power Supply. Niger, A Neighbouring Country Has Same And We Are There Major Source. If Nobody Takes This Serious, Corruption Will Keep Bitting Every System & Nothing Will Be Even Enjoyed In This Country For It’s Citizen.

I don't understand the way we reason upside down in this country. You want to ban the importation of generators and yet the generation and distribution of power is very epileptic. This is very unfortunate 'cos they are not considering the SMEs, as this means death for small businesses who rely on generator for their day-to-day activities.

Dear Angel that brought me to Nigeria, pls be prepared, we are going to have a longggggg conversation when i eventually get to heaven.

Must everything come through bills in this country? Everything is not by force, when there is no demand for it again then the sellers will surely move to the next available product. They should fix the problem of power first.

Eeediooota...... Fix electricity. Generator will go into extinction.
The poster above.... Do you know some people in this country don't experience power outage except is a nationwide outage If transmission sends 10MW, they become priority. What happens to others who need electricity for business, medicals etc.

Every facility that requires 24 hours power supply

Even if this becomes law, it will be violated with reckless abandon. That is because every facility requires 24 hours power supply.

Foolish Bill's from the north. Is anybody still importing sagem, trium, alcatel phones in Nigeria? It's about demand and supply. If there is steady electricity, it will ban itself

It is does not always comes down to demand & supply sir. There is demand for drugs & ashi's sir, but the govt of most countries say, no! Cos of its adverse effects on society at large. Some people already mentioned alternatives readily available to us i.e. solar, wind energy.

FATHER, Bless Me this Senator!
This will be Wonderful if it passes ..

But I doubt it! The Wickedness in Nigeria leadership is too much...

I hope they SUPRISE me and Pass this Bill!

The Bill is as good as dead. It shouldn't even sail through the first reading because the Senator jumped the gun.

He should have done a better homework to know when to introduce such a bill to the house.

So please let the FATHER be.
