Hello. I saw that also, but I doubt the integrity of the news. Go to Turkish airline official site and there’s a mention of the countries with flights cancelled until April or so. Nigeria is not one of them. You can also use your booking details to confirm the status of your flight.

Hello everyone,
Please I need your advise on UK visiting Visa. In 2016 I applied to study in the UK even though I just got back from a visit to the UK, but I was denied because they were not satisfied with my financial statement as to how I got the money in my account. Since then I haven’t applied to visit or for study. Now I plan to apply for a 6months visiting visa, but I’m only visiting for 2weeks I have been working since 2017 with a starting salary of N100k and now I earn N120k per month. 1. Please how much is the least I can have in my account, I’m thinking N1.2M
2. Can I do hotel reservation?

Thanks in advance

Good morning people.

I have an issue and I honestly don't know how to go about it; I was refused a UK EEA family permit because my birth certificate was registered 14 years after my birth. The ECO said I should have submitted a letter of authority from the Deputy Chief registrar for late birth registration after 1 year of my birth. which is subject to payment of fees, but according to National Population commission, there is no penalty for late birth registration as they are trying to encouragement massive birth registration all over the country.

my problem is that the ECO quoted Act 1992 of the constitution in my refusal letter, but NPC is saying that they have waived off the penalty.

Please can anybody offer a little help here?

thanks in advance.

Thanks to everyone here that helped me with my visa application. I arrived into the UK yesterday morning (first timer), spent little time at border control.

Nobosy asked for yellow card.

Congrat bro ...how was ur flight ..pls did u obtaim any yellow card vaccine before you travel...and pls can you dm me ..want to ask u something about the port of entry ... thanks

Yeah I obtained the yellow card, but no one asked for it all through my journey till arrival.

Very important...at the POE, you have to be very smart, if you were invited by a friend relative etc...you have to know their address, what they're doing in UK etc, you have to give smart answers to avoid having issues with UK immigration officers.

Please I need urgent help let me know what to do..
My Tier 2 UK visa application is already booked for next week, I answered NO to the question do you have a valid national ID card?

In all honesty I don't have a valid national ID card, I enrolled 2013 and was given the NIMC slip but since then the card has never been issued..
I noticed also that banks won't even accept it from me as a means of identification because although it has the NIN it doesn't have the NIMC logo embedded in it like some others I saw..

My problem now is, was i wrong to answer NO? Should i still include the slip like that when i go for submission and explain why i answered NO or it isn't necessary?

They can’t prove the authenticity of your birth certificate due to the time gap. They only accept birth certificates registered within 6 months after your birth. Your best bet is to do a DNA to prove relationship with your sponsor. You’ll be fine with that.

Tier 2 work Visa.. I was just afraid that they may consider the NIMC slip equivalent to national ID card, had to read the slip carefully again and it's stated that it doesn't confer the right of a general multipurpose card.

Just don't want to have any issues at all.

Go & do fresh sworn affidavit in court stating your date of birth & how you lost it. The typist in court knows the right format to use.

Take the affidavit & passport photograph to NPC office in your state of residence, you will be required to fill a form & pay certain amount of money( i dont know the figure) which will be receipted .

They will ask you to come back after few days for ATTESTATION OF BIRTH letter which is a replacement for your birth certificate.

NPC Lagos office is at 12-14 Babs Animashaun Street, Surulere beside NYSC secretariat.
