The Federal Government has told Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) that it “has no records of the exact amount of public funds stolen by a former military head of state, Sani Abacha and no records of the spending of about $5 billion recovered loot for the period between 1999 and 2015.”http://serap-nigeria.org/we-have-no-record-of-spending-on-5bn-abacha-loot-nigerian-govt-tells-serap.ngo/ 6 Likes 4 Shares

First of all, Buhari the head of the govt told a bewildered nation that "Abacha never stole a dime" while same is shamelessly retrieving endless loot of the Abacha regime stashed up in foreign countries without any iota of accountability. Nothing new in a government that promised a new order of change but ends up bastardizing every aspect of our national life including the legalisation of corruption. 36 Likes 3 Shares |

The government should focus its attention on how we will get out of this current economic mess and let not get distracted by Abacha's endless loot! 2 Likes |

That must be a big lie. Anyway, we accept. Let them account for their own, which must not include refund to Kebbi governor. Nigeria has always been plagued with misfortune of having corrupt attorneys-general always entering deals that suits their pockets and bellies only! 6 Likes |

Things like this is why black people will never be respected anywhere. Black people don't want to be treated like sh!t but they are experts in treating themselves that way. Look at what one man stole, others are stealing and those not stealing just because they haven't had the opportunity to "chop my own share". Look at other race respected in other countries different from their own countries. They are not respected because of development they brought to their host countries but because of development they have in their own countries. Do you think if most countries in Africa are like European countries, we will have the level of racism against black people as we currently do? 6 Likes |

Isn't this what Yorubas call 'Ole gbe, ole gba'? It's simple; the recovered loot has probably been relooted again, perhaps in much more sophisticated manner. 6 Likes |
