Third Coronavirus Case Confirmed In Lagos by Welrez(op): 10:37am On Mar 17, 2020

The Lagos state government has confirmed a third case of coronavirus in the state.

Akin Abayomi, the state’s commissioner of health, disclosed this at a press conference, on Tuesday.

This development comes days after the state government confirmed that the second case was now free of the virus.

It says the person entered Nigeria on the 13th. Why is government not stopping/banning anyone that has visited the flash points of this global outbreak from entering Nigeria? Cancel their visas too if they are foreigners like S.A recently did, irrespective of where they are from. This is insane. FG is endangering the lives of Nigerians with this stupid policy of keeping the airspace open at this critical time.

If we don’t follow appropriate measures to contain this virus, it might be very unfortunate. It’s highly possible that right now there are people moving around with this virus in Nigeria which these Health Agencies don’t even know about.
