The Nigerian Woman came from UK. No country prevents their citizen from coming back. Now she test positive for Covid-19, all of a sudden it is the health minister fault... Please tell me how he is to be blamed that the woman has the virus ?

It is just a matter of time before we realized that there are hundreds of Nigerians already infected with the virus. It is now time to make use of the testing kits donated to Africa by the founder of Alibaba business group Mr Jack Ma in Nigeria. More Nigerians are definitely infected with the virus except this new case is found in the isolation center.

Exactly, she spoke with Morayo and co on the view show on TVC via phone conversation, severe measures ought to be in place to checkmate all those coming from abroad at this point.

If we don’t follow appropriate measures to contain this virus, it might be very unfortunate. It’s highly possible that right now there are people moving around with this virus in Nigeria which these Health Agencies don’t even know about. FG close border o and restrict people traveling in from high risk countries, dem no gree. We’re playing with this outbreak shocked
she is no foreigner but a Nigerian from UK. So if the test is done and it is discovered that she has it, she is then been quarantined and treated. What better actions do you think that should have been done ?

All those agitating for Buhari to close border has got no reason for Buhari to act fast.
Just tell him Italy, US and other affected countries are exporting their cows to Nigeria and this will crash the price of cow meat in Nigeria.
He will act instantaneously.

Disaster is in the offing for this nation judging by the way our moronic leaders are governing us... It is really pathetic.

How many intensive care units can we boast of in this country?

How many functioning ventilators can our major teaching hospitals boast of?

Italy, US and UK are still in fear despite the medical facilities and human resources at their disposal..

Buhari and his cohorts still feel our borders should be left open and no flight restrictions from countries with high incident rates.. angry

Even Europe which is the most powerful and richest continent gonna close it's border today by 12...Why is the Nigerian government wasting time in closing its borders and banning flights from high risk countries?

Thank God for early discovery.

Yes. But how many are out there that have not been discovered? How many has she infected before it was discovered as coronavirus? There are not even enough labs to test the virus.

Nawa ooh. All over the world, countries are closing boarders, testing passengers as they arrive. But those bastards at the airport knows nothing but to collect bribes.

Testing passengers doesn't stop the spread sir (I believe they have been doing that for weeks now)...

An asymptomatic passenger will pass the airport test easily, which is probably what happened with this 3rd case... This happens every where across the universe. Really no need singling out your country for scorn.

As for closing of borders (I sense you mean shutting down flights into the nation)... Do you and your ilk know what will happen to this nation's imports dependent economy in just a week??! Or even less??!... Something's are easier to type on social media than do in reality.

Yes...thousands do carry it without showing symptoms. Even in the US, you don't take a test when you don't show symptoms. The issue is those not showing symptoms ( mostly the young population) transferring it to the very old who are the vulnerable ones. It is when symptoms are seen that you take a test or when you feel you should take a test because you went close to an already diagnosed patient. Anyway you look at it, many carriers do have it without the symptoms and not everyone is required to take a test
