Since these mods won't correct whatever system induced error there is, even after email sent, I can only post when ever their regular weekly ban on my account permits.

But it's so terrible a loss when you know what gains would have been made on ETF's like UVXY which was written about when under $20 now hitting $90 in a space of one month.
But in their "wisdom", they keep taking the posts down.

Bro, I sent you a mail. Kindly respond.

Please I'm trying to fund my chaka account and I noticed there's a local (naira) and a global (dollar) account. Is it possible I use the cash in global account to buy local stocks and vice versa?

Bro congrats on your wins.
I hope you quickly took your profits.
I responded to your post advising you take your profits as those oil stocks gained massively because of President Trump's pronouncement that he has instructed oil be bought massively and it was promptly taken down with a ban placed.
I took some some came down. Thank you

I've said it repeatedly, HODL (to borrow a crypto term) cash.

Wait this pandemic out. The stock market is not going anywhere and FOMO isn't a vaccine for sustaining huge losses.

The NYSE President argued it's not a good idea to close the market. I'm indifferent. What I'd back is suspending shorting like Italy has done. That'd relief some of the bear pressure.

But overall, if you want to buy the dip, then be prepared to go long because the zig-zags have not ended. If you want to JIJO the market, the Lord is your muscle.

Lastly, about the health side of things. Don't panic. Health experts are stoking fear to scare the average Western citizen to take this seriously. Because if they don't do that, the average person will continue doing dumb sh*t; like go to a club during a f*cking global pandemic. The downside is that Wall Street hears the same thing and act like it's the end of the world.

PS: To be fair, there are good arguments to enter now. For instance, vaccine trial just started today in Seattle (and I believe simultaneously in Australia) and historically it's almost impossible to accurately time the best days (that's why informed people say buy the dip, so as not to miss out on the best days). However, for the sake of your blood pressure, know your limit. While buying the dip is potentially the most profitable thing to do, staying out is unarguably the safe thing to do.

Truer words have never been spoken. I agree with you that buying right now comes with risk and if you don't have a long term horizon it might be best to stay in cash. I'm a long term investor. I sold most of my stocks last year around February because I had plans to use the cash at some point last year. It was a tough decision staying in cash while watching the market make All Time Highs, but I had to stay disciplined. Notwithstanding, I still had long positions in some companies with good balance sheets that will shoot back up once the virus has been contained. I buy the dips in these names as a way to reduce my cost average as well as buy good companies in trenches while volatility is still high.

I don't know about others, but any day the DJIA, NASDAQ and SPY falls 13% you bet I'm buying. To me any daily drop between 5-10% in the DOW is a buying opportunity. We are 30% down from the highs in such a short period of time. This isn't 2008 with credit crunch, where banks were lending sub prime loans to people with poor credit who simply couldn't afford it. This isn't the year 2000 where stocks were overvalued and the dot-com bubble burst, most of the big tech companies today actually have earnings to justify their valuation. This isn't the Great Depression of 1929 which was brought about by the 1st world war.

Nobody can predict the bottom, and if the stock market goes lower another 20% from here, I wouldn't be mad because I have a long term view and I will be buying all the way down but selectively. Will I buy the airlines, cruise , casino and entertainment stocks now? Probably not. But does Microsoft at $137, Facebook at $148, Starbucks at $60, JP morgan at $90 and Verizon at $51 look juicy? Yes. I have a small short term portfolio I use to test strategies, buy volatile biotech stocks and play options, I don't hold those positions too long. I might even buy cruise ships in the next sell off, hope for a bounce the next day and close that position. One guy on this thread made money buying the beat down oil stocks and more than doubling his money the next day.

Nobody should invest cash they might need next week or next month unless you only plan to hold for a few days. Long term investors should not panic sell, continue to buy in trenches as this too shall pass. But ultimately, everyone is responsible for their own trading, do your own research.

The words in bold may cause greater capitulation when it reopens.
A natural fall and rise will be more lasting.
I believe the deeper the fall, the closer we get to a recovery.
The DJIA is where all eyes keep going to after every fall.

Good point. Honestly it will get to a point where everyone will realize the sell off is overdone.

Clorox CLX is up 15% today. You cannot find clorox wipes to buy in stores, it's all sold out. My 1 share is printing though grin.

Morderna has finally closed $30 again after reporting that the company has started trials for its corona virus vaccine, call option is up 21%.

Boeing has been punished so bad. It is America's biggest exporter. But the stock is down 214% from it's All Time High. While there's so much headwind to pull the stock lower, I strongly believe the U.S government will do everything in its powers to bail out Boeing and keep them solvent. If it drops to $100, I'm buying.

I never thought of this but fast food restaurants like Dominoes (DPZ) might benefit from all this. I live in New York, the governor has asked all restaurants, bars, clubs and schools to close down. So restaurant chains with a strong delivery network and focus like Dominoes might actually benefit since most people are home. Also looking at the chart, the mid February gap has filled.

The SPY dropped 10% this morning. I think that's overdone but in scary times people trade irrationally. I bought 1 SPY call, I'm basically hoping that the spy bounces from these lows. Trump is expected to address the press in about 5hrs, just 30minites before the market closes. On Friday's close, the market rallied hard when Trump declared a national emergency and promised $50 billion in relief. Over the weekend the feds slashed interest rates to 0 but the market still sold off. I don't think the government can do anything to stop the market slide, not until the virus has been contained. Anyway, I'm hoping for a chance that the the market cuts its loss towards the end of trading today, then I will sell the call option.

Spy call from yesterday is up 30% from today's bounce

Yes.
With all 50 states in the US now having confirmed cases of corona virus and US death toll up to 100, I believe COvid-19 has finally turned full cycle and will begin to subside soon.

The above category of stocks including Clorox, ZM, Moderna, INO etc who have been corona winners are likely going to do another round of upward movement before normalcy returns.

People may consider selling off ETF's before they start dwindling accordingly as they are typically short term plays.

Absolutely @CHWY.
TDOC is a typical "Blue Diamond Strategy" coy.
The stay-at-home policy of the moment is a huge advantage as it encourages their online exercise/gym coaching products and services.
