Failing jamb is not the end of the world. I wrote jamb for 5yrs, passed both jamb and post jambs but still didn't get admission. I later applied for sandwich in Lasu (computer science), used 8yrs for a 5yr course due to strike, postponement of exams, fights e.t.c. This is the 2nd year after our final exams but results is yet to be released and some missing(making 10yrs).
But one thing is that I have moved on, learnt a skill along the line, started my own mini business and am doing well to the glory of God (praying to be better).

There is nothing in this life that warrants one taking his or her life. If something is not working for you, don't be discouraged or depressed to the extent of taking your life(because it will surely pass). Try other things or ways and Life continues.

depression is real... I have been fighting for survival for years now,but honestly I don't know how long I can keep fighting, rest in peace sister!

How I wish you can hear me as I wish to tell you that what I went thru was nothing compared to what made you to commit this greatest sin. Mountain of hindrances won't cease from the part of those that will make it but only with perseverance that you will scale thru.... Ekpadomo Sir. Omo, na once i write WAEC o, cleared all 9 Subjects with 3 As and 6 Cs, only for JAMB to mean me. Funny thing, i always got over 200 in Jamb, but was never enough to pass cutoff mark and my parents will never "work" my admissions, they will simply ask for the next time Jamb is selling form.

I wrote JAMB 7 times. Today, I graduated and have a good job to say.

If you really want to know how she felt, face some kind of life dream fizzle away from you. She must have dreamt of being a university student at every seconds of her life, she must have day deemed whenever she saw someone in the course she wanted to study. I felt how she felt, it is like an excruciating pain coupled with very short breathes, as if life is being snuffed off you or falling into an endless pit. Her heart may have not being strong to withstand that much pressure, I don't blame her cos I've witnessed it before.
All my dreams have being to join the army, there is no day I don't dream of passing out as a commissioned officer, that the last recruitment, I resigned from my work cos I was very sure I will get, I did everything right, did my runs and pushed myself beyond my limits, read all readable, went for the shortlisting, passed the almighty medicals and faced the board, I was asked about the transformer which even an illiterate can explain, I did perfectly well in it cos I was running my masters in electrical power and machines so very conversant with all the questions but the final list came out, I didn't see my name, I didn't know what happened and I felt like dieing, up till now am still wondering how I survived that episode, it was confusing and frustrating but I pulled through and ready to apply again.
