I was preparing to go enter London to for Passport/NIN waka, but yesterday the High Commission announced they're closing because of the wuhan virus.

Before the panic buying started, I already bought enough bottled water and tissue paper when I heard some Australians were doing it. I have been buying hand gel from amazon for years so I have enough.
Over the past week, it's been amazing to see how empty of tissue some stores have been. grin. Even kitchen rolls and all sorts of wet wipes are out of stock. I can't find pasta in shops. I managed to get a pack of baked beans recently. No handwash liquid soap.

Even some drugs are scarce. My friend near London drove to several pharmacies before he could find paracetamol.
Thankfully, I have stocked up on paracetamol, vitamin C, multivitamins, and hay fever pills.

I'm thankful I'm now driving and don't rely on public transport. Any day now, I'm expecting to be told to stay home and not come to the office.

And I believe the situation is going to get worse over the next 1-4 weeks. All I can do is prepare, wait, and hope.
Do you know that it is post like this that induces fear and panic buying among people?

The airline would not even check them in, which translates to local airport sending them back.........

She’s just telling us what she did, she’s not asking you to do your own.

If someone says they slept with a married man, will it induce you to sleep with a married man as well?

I believe the ban said entry into Nigeria not departing from Nigeria
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Bourne007(m): 8:00pm On Mar 18, 2020
It doesn't even say ban. It's 'restricting entry' which begs the question what kind of restriction

Hi @lalasticlala I just want to thank you for sharing my tweet. Please don’t mention that I’m on nairaland or my handle on nairaland. Also please remove my twitter name (Aphrodite), you can leave my twitter handle. Finally, Please tell them that I’m not in Nigeria, I’m self isolating at home in England.
Get well soon.

I hope you recover fast but you are a funny character, you are posting this here with the same name as that of twitter and still don't want people to know that you are a nairalander?
I posted it here instead of the page that was created. I feel safer here, that’s why. Also, i can’t send private messages fast on nairaland unless I wait for the op to accept it. This was the only way

That twit will help lots of people as so many don't know what to expect.

If u have honey, use it.
Honey is very good for throat sores or dry throat.

Get bitter kola and always sleep with it in your mouth.
Sorry and thank u for the tips
