The rep just got back to me. She said that I should visit a UBA branch with a means of identification, make my complaint, and present documents showing that I work where I say I do. They should be able to help me with that.

I think this is not far from the truth of the matter.

Reason being that it seems EFCC and CBN are also aware of what has been going on; Africard being now rampantly used for fraud.
Exactly.

oga this your ip shit no be talk if you go to UBA and they want to investigate they will have all transaction id number to verify where exactly the money coming from and if the first point were the money comes from is not legit EFCC will be your bosom friend well Payoneer is best for me tied of PayPal wahala

Lol didn't mean to scare the kids grin

Y'all right tho, what they really need to know is how you got the money. Nobody cares about what PayPal you're using.

But still yet keep in mind you're operating an illegal account wink

You may be right, bro. I just got off the phone with a UBA rep. To cut the long story short, she asked about the source of my funds, and said that I may need to provide proof that I work there.
Okay. So what proof do they expect to see though? Probably the employment mail from QA.... The whole thing is just tiring

Guys with all these talk of Paypal and Africard..don't you all think it's right time to start canvassing for Paypal to fully extend it's services to Nigeria?

Or is there an actual government policy preventing them to do so?

If there are no such restrictions by our government, then i think we should actively start bombarding Paypal with emails.

What do you guys think?

You do have a point though. Financial institutions could be funny at times, they could just go state one rule from a T&C and before you know it the whole thing escalates.

Just finished calling uba rep..i think all they need is a doc that show the authenticity of your fund
That's all.
The lady specifically told me to send an email to paypla that they should tell me the authenticity of the fund after that I should mail them with the screenshot of the email

To my brothers that never stopped believing. I just got a call from the UBA rep that the card is good to go. I was able to by airtime, and I've been successfully able to transfer to my zenith account.

Don't stop believing. God no go shame us.

I think sending them a screenshot of your PayPal activity should suffice.

I noticed that 24-hour debit withdrawal, I guess the block was supposed to be for just 24 hours.

I just withdraw $203 from PayPal to Africard and withdraw from Africard to my UBA account. Everything was successful within 5 minutes. I am glad Africard is finally back. Thank God.
