1st method........

You would need to lodge a complaint with the police, swear an affidavit and take documents to his bank.......

If funds are still in his account, his account would be frozen...... If he has cashed out, a standing order would be set on his account..... The moment he collects another funds...... GBAM


And the bank would shut down his account and make a BVN entry...........


2nd method.......

If you know anyone in his bank, stretch some long legs........

Dont forget to remind him that he would spend Close to that 15k and the process won't be fast because there won't be a proof if the complainant is true to his words or not.

How did you find them?

Simple look at the pattern of the advert,
Rule number 1 the guy that scammed you has so many other adverts too with different phone numbers... check the 1ce closest to the 1 you paid for,then you contact the person with a different number. Act very naive try to make the person see you as a novice that is willing to pay ASAP then try to get a meeting point. Keep doing this until you meet the seller that wants to meet at the same place you had agreed with the first scammer and boom you’ve gotten your man.

It depends on who you are dealing with, I sent 38k to someone I met here on nairaland for a tv and the guy delivered the tv to me neat and sharp

That's an attitude of a man of good conscience. People fail to understand that trust is a strong weapon of blessings and destructions as well. It has recorded a lot in favour of you and your generation and whoever that takes an advantage of your own trust will dearly pay for it.

seriously... i also like the idea that i can trust people but it is too bad that people are so keen on defrauding others. i met somebody here that wants a business plan, after discussing the guy sent half of the money yesterday without asking any sort of verification which i was expecting he would ask for. I can't disappoint the dude, i am currently on page 7 of his work. Not everybody is bad but people still have to be careful

There may be some problems with his phone, as it is his business line he will eventually put it on.

But if he switch on his phone on and still doesn't pick then you have to keep trying the number with another line and if he picks eventually, tell him you wanna get some goods from him and you live in the area and you'll come check it out. If he sends you an address then you'll know what to do. I just hope he's not a nairalander reading this.

You made the wrong move by sending your money without meeting the person...even tho the person had the original product...evil is natural...just report to police or u trace at bank

If you did online transfer you can easily get him. Take the matter to SARS or EFCC. Tender is account details to them and he will be traced. But you will need to settle the force men too. Teach that guy a lesson.

Surprisingly, I am yet to have a bad deal on Jiji.
I believe any serious business man should be trustworthy. This Nigerian idea of smartness that involves duping people won't take any business far.

I have bought about items worth over a 100k from more than 5 sellers in the last few months. I send the money in advance and get my stuff waybilled and I have never met these people.

Maybe AliExpress has spoilt me.
To pay money in advance for stuff no too dey hard me again.
