Good evening everyone. I want you to epp me look into this matter. I bought a dell laptop from kulkid at TLC for 165k. Which I paid for on 9th of march. So I noticed it was the same pictures Daaz posted on his pickup thread he sent me. After Daaz clear the items. His name and d pc was among. So I asked him if the pc was available. He said he will go and get it and that was on Wednesday. On Friday I was in Lagos to collect the pc n he told me the item has not been cleared and that it was through Baltimore he got it. I said so once I get my items, no p. Now this night, I asked him about it. He said Baltimore has cleared the items and that he won't release the item unless I pay 178 which is 13k extra to the amount I paid. I even told him 10k out of my ignorance, he didn't agree so, I consulted 1 of my oga, he said I'm not to pay him any shi shi, n he told me to post the issue here. Abeg tell him to release my item for me oo. I'm not pay a kobo ontop the 165k I paid for the item as TLC

To me, this is a case of unnecessary exploitation. You've got no biz with the increase in dollars or whatever, dollar was stable as at the time of payment, there was no extra charge, he priced his laptop based on the value of dollars at that point so this one is no excuse. He should release your laptop to you, it's as simple as that.

As we all know, human relations can be very complex sometimes so it should not come as surprise if a day comes and my name also makes the dispute statistics thread. But no problem. If I'm a danger, or a potential danger, then people need to be wary of me cos afterall, we're talking about hard earned money here. People's life savings.

Lastly, may God grant us all wisdom not to in the excitement of stealing a piece of meat from the pot today , make the whole soup sour that was supposed to feed us tommorow.

This is being handled one sided! I remember clearly telling him a week after the deal to send his account details for a refund! Due to shipping being prolonged and stuffs like this! I never ever get issue with anyone here or run with anybody's money! Unlike some dudes on this thread who buys item with sellers money in name of TLC I buy my items with my own money! And until recently I don't do TLC deals that much! The last deal I had with Timjosephn01 I explained to him costs of everything with screenshots to let him know price of the item so if I sell I'm losing!

If you refuse to comply and keep to your words for an item you sold as TLC, Then I don’t think I’m ever safe to do business with such a man. Whether people are safe to do business with you is in doubt.

this is not a matter of you sorting out or not. This is purely exploitation. I've never bought / heard of buying a deal as tlc then on getting to naija it adds price again. Most times buying at tlc means the items gets transferred to the buyer automatically self. The increase in exchange rates is no excuse at all, you prolly have someone else trying to pay you a higher amount. This is wrong for a business based on trust and vouchers, this move will really reduce people's confidence in recommending, dealing with you as well as vouching for you also

You went out of the line by requesting for more money on deal he has already paid.

Once someone pay you for any deal, it cease to be yours. So you trying to collect more money for his laptop because you think you have a leverage is very unprofessional.

Do the right thing by delivering as promised.
