Please people, stay at home and disinfect regularly.
Mop and clean surfaces with hypo.
Use facemasks and gloves if you must go out.
There's no such thing as being too careful.

If you fall ill now and need to be admitted, no one will come after you at the hospital. You can't even tell your family to look after your children while you go sort yourself out. Simply keep yourself and yours safe

I just sorry for people wey dey naija prison. Hope police stations have emptied their cells??

NO country on earth has the capacity to test everyone...
Not just the testing equipment but the needed reagents are obviously in acute demand worldwide at this time.

Accordingly, each country necessarily PRIORITIZES who gets tested...
In Nigeria's case, those already showing symptoms go directly to the front of the line.

Ultimately, COVID-19 is a virus, with a 2-week lifespan...
Thus, even with limited testing capacity, self-isolation and social distance should flatten the curve and then break the infection chain.
>

No country test everyone, even in the US, if you are not showing symptoms, you don’t get tested.

It is false to assume that, Nigeria is testing everyone that shows symptoms, Nigeria does not have the capacity to test everyone that shows symptoms, therefore they are only testing the highly connected and those who make a lot of noise and resides in few of the major city centers.

We have seen community spread in Nigeria as a result, there should have been testing centers in all the states if not LGAs.

Nope, you can get tested in the US w/out symptoms in those so-called "drive-through" test centers set up in some states...
Meanwhile, Nigeria tests only those with symptoms and trace contacts (which was why the "highly connected" at Aso Rock were tested).

Okay. Did all these travellers return before the airport lockdown or is there a way they're getting in we are unaware of?

-Sorry love, people must come back to their fatherland.

-Any Nation in the world will seek to evacuate their people back home, but unfortunately Nigeria is not a Nation so people will need to do It themselves. If you know what I mean. wink

-Stock up with foods, commonly used medicines, and essential supplies, cos e go red oo.

When I saw the headlines, I knew it would be the returnees. Like the kind partial this our govt is showing ehn? Like seriously this is life threatening and they still feel the need to play around? And when its hitting them at the top some are saying don't wish them evil but THEY are putting the country in serious danger. Why are they still allowing this people into the country if not wickedness. The rich.. Always want to have their cake and eat it.

God will deal with those behind this nonsense.

And why are they not releasing names? That way, it will be easier for those who came in contact with the person to quickly say so and isolate themselves from others.

Returning travellers from where? The world claims all the airports and borders are shut, Nigeria claims its international airports and borders are shut and Rivers claims all its borders are shut. So how are returnees returning? The Rivers case must have crossed 3 'closed' borders and flown on at least 2 'grounded' planes to return. Either he is James Bond or something is not right somewhere.

You peope like peddling lies. That's how someone claimed over 30 people were tested positive at Julius Berger Clinic in Abuja, only for the claim to be debunked by JB.
