this is not seeming like we can contained this virus... it's just rising everyday and just very few cases of discharged

Indeed, the virus is easy to get but extremely difficult to rid off. The recovery rate is slow meaning gridlock at hospitals.

That is why you do everything to ensure it does not take root in your country. I am angry with the goverment for this. They caused all this by not shutting the borders in a timely manner or making returnee quarantine mandatory in government controlled locations. I have always said that the government is run by special interest for special interests.

However they were put there by the citizens so the ultimate responsibility for a country's fortunes lie with the citizens who choose their leaders at the polls. When the virus laden dust has settled I do hope the citizens of this country will come to realise how important it is to choose the right leadership in the future, leadership that respects the wishes of its citizens, one that listens and obeys. One that fears the people.

Look through the posts is the last few days, the 'Hailers' have fallen silent. You don't hear idolatry anymore. They have left the ignorant fence sitters in the lurch after bombarding them for years with propaganda about how good their pet leaders are. The pandemic has revealed the exact opposite.

Are you the one that conducted the test or did you see the test results? NCDC only update based on what they have, if people donot go out to test to know their status after showing symptoms how do you expect NCDC to know?

I really don't know what they were coming back to Nigeria for... It's like some of them just deliberately want to pass this virus round. Selfish fools

I won't be surprised if it's 10 times that number.

As much as we dislike Trump, if the Roche anti-Corona vaccine works, it will be fantastic. I think a race should be on to find simple effective treatments and also preventive measures.

I believe a prize of $20m should be given to anyone who finds a simple effective cure. With such a prize, a cure will be found within 6months.

YOU dislike trump. Don't generalize.

What we should do now is to move forward with containment. Complaints like this have become outdated and boring. The government should get in the equipments necessary by air. Wealthy Nigerians and corporate organisations should wake up and do the needful like Mrs. Alakija by ordering equipments to serve the entire nation. Ventilators are needed desperately. Buhari should do something urgently to get ventilators.

Not true. It was a sarcastic response to her donation of prayers. She donated nada!

May the devil punish all those who are still allowing people to continue to enter Nigeria through our various entering route in Jesus' name.

Well... If the available statistics is to be believed, it's obvious that the rate of transmission in Nigeria is very low, same with other west African countries. 90% of the cases we have are still imported.
Yes andonly spreading among the rich.if it was among the masses,it would have been worst.i dont think Nigeria will record up to 200 cases.by April ending, the cases will fizzle out.the only problem is the long time it takes for patients to recover, only 2 discharged

Dey should have banned international flights immediately after the index case. It's definitely more than 51 add 2 Nahco staff and 3 people in Gbagada. Also some of the people that dinned with the positive case at the Amvca.

It takes average of fourteen days for the body to fight the virus while another week is given for tests to be sure there's no relapse. However, it's obvious we don't have the resources to combat this thing and would have been much better if we closed our borders much early.

Bros there is no need for such a prize the patent and licensing rights on such a drug alone will run into hundreds of millions of dollars not to talk of influence and access. The Nobel prize will be awarded for sure!

I'm talking here about speed of getting it ready. A cure is needed like yesterday.

A cure could be as simple as a plant in your backyard. That plant could be turned into a supplement.

The good thing is that the virus is NOT airborne...
Unless your neighbors have super-projectile droplets, you will be safe if there's a 6-feet distance.
