GamalNasser:Ode. The governor is an investigator abi. Mumu. A bomb on the ground will cause such huge crater. You people will be forming yeye theorists as if na ur face the bomb explode. |

[quote author=Sheuns post=87843904]It can’t be a truck bomb. The link u posted shows nothing of such. If the bomb was on a truck as u said, the truck must have been still on the ground and such huge hole cannot be made by something already on the ground. It’s a meteorite from the look of things. Only a trajectory bomb dropped from above can create such impact. As for the roofs and buildings affected, it’s the shockwave from the impact on the ground that did that. True |

helinues:Yes. Akeredolu is the Chairman of South West Governors Forum. Akure is the seat of government. Yesterday, I read that Abule Ado Rev Sister that died have been buried. Today another explosion at Akure. I have just finished reading a short story on Col Victor Banjo on social media who was executed on September 22, 1967 leaving behind a Sierra leonean wife and Four Children when I got information about the explosion. |

Very unprofessional reporting. people want to know what caused it but you skipped it, giving room for further spread of rumours and fake news. |

GamalNasser:I think you’re the one that cannot read. The craters u sent, were the bombs on the ground? Or dropped from a height? Bombs dropped from heights or planted in the ground leave craters. Not the one on a truck. And where are the debris from the said truck? At least u should have evidence. So everyone that does not think the way u do is a Buharist? Yeye. |

OROSUNBOLB:Why not think it this way, What if it is a terroristic attack and the peeps involved dont want to make a fuss about it just yet because they have an agenda? What if the agenda is to achieve these attacks without having people look their way or even suspect them? What if they are planning on infiltrating states without allowing people become too careful of their environment? What if it is a decoy to attack the regional security outfit that the SW is working on? What if I'm not saying you are wrong, neither am I affirming that you are correct. I'm only trying to point your attentions to the possible 'If(s)". |

So these guys are threatening the South West because of their stance on some National issues? I dont blame them, I blame the average Yoruba man who appears to be under some sort of influence. How is it that a whole tribe does not know their enemy? They support the Gambari at every opportunity they have. The Gambari uses the military to kill the innocent protesters, the Yorubas will turn around and say why did the protesters protest in the first place? The Gambari kills people seeking self determination, the Yorubas says why will they want to break away from the Gambaris. The Yorubas have aided the Gambaris by providing them support when they commit atrocities in Benue, Jos, Southern Kaduna and many places. They always find a way to spin the issue by saying how do we know that the perpetrators are Fulani Jihadists? They banned Marwa and Okada out of panic when they got credible intelligence that the Gambaris are using it as a means of recruiting fighters from across West Africa. Now that they have use amnesty to disarm the South and NC/MB, while making the same weapons available to their own militia in addition to weapons from Turkey, Saudi, Qatar and Libya, what should the South do? The South must come together, if not they will be easily taken out one after the other. Your heritage will be turned over to people not even from your country, the Fulani government will use the military to protect these new communities of migrants. The West will be worst hit because they aided the enemy for whatever reason. I just pray people are wise enough not to respond with violence to the aggressor, the aggressors are very well equipped to unleash hell. |

So out of about 5million members on nairaland, we could not see a competent geologist that could give a scientific description of what realky cause the crater or the explosion. Everybody just dey speculate. I trust my fellows in Europe. |

FirstbornWds:I did not rule out the possibility of it being a terrorist attack in my earlier submission. I only said it does not make any sense if it is. I however don't think a group that wants to be secretive about its activities or that is not ready to announce its presence in a particular area would be stupid enough to be thrown bombs around. That will be a fantastic way of remaining anonymous in that area. Whatever cowardly agenda they may be pushing, I think throwing bombs around when they are not ready to come out and make their presence known publicly is the height of stupidity. |

What occurred along akure/Owo road is called astroid fall. Few days ago a report shows that an astroid will be passing close to the Earth but it was not ever envisaged that akure will be a landing spot. People seeing looking at the hole should be careful or beside is not advisable because of the emission the astroid might likely possess. The foresic exexperts are suppose to be at the top of the situation at the moment not public surrounding the place. |

According to the news we heard on radio here in Akure, the explosive departed Ibadan and headed for Edo State but what confuses me is that Nigeria Army and the escaping personnel hasn’t come out to claim responsibility on shipping of the bombs and minding its impact similarity with the tragedy in Lagos. There is a big fire on the mountain in the country |

Davash222:we lagosians knew it was bomb explosion and a reaction of the idiots to amotekun. Those chattered roofs and walls are a proof. No single gas cylinder was seen on site yet they claimed it was gas explosion. Akure explosion happened same way...a boarding school targeted and a church. Let them keep deceiving them selves.I hope Ekiti, oyo and Ogun states too wouldn't witness same in coming days. God will never forgive Tinubu for bringing us this mess |
