On a norm i am a muslim i served in kebbi state, those people weren't seeing me as a muslim because i wasn't in support of most of their ideas, they are abusing the quran, hadith and sunnah i do argue with them a lot back then because they always misinterpret the meaning of the Qur'an. I am from the south i studied the quran and i can translate and know my quran very well, quran doesn't make any one violent nor does it teaches violence. Hausa has violence in their nature and you can't relate that with islam. Did i tell you they didn't recognised me as a Muslim even when i do pray five daily prayer with them always seeing me reciting the quran. But they are still the learned ones among them who knows the quran and aren't abusing it. So please make research about islam before you conclude anything about the religion

You're right to an extent but in Nigeria it seems Hausas and Fulanis are just problematic. Dubai, Iran, Egypt and other Muslim predominant countries are under lockdown, even here, Lagos is under lockdown and we have Muslims there but no problems. Once you venture unto Hausa land, inspired by their distant cousins Fulani, they rather die than obey govt. Are they more religious than the Arabs?

People are just being hypocritical, in present day Texas fourteen year olds can get married with their parents' consent. Imagine how early they were allowed to get married decades or a century ago. There is hardly any culture around the world were people didn't get married early back then. Allah knows best.
P.S: I frown staunchly upon child marriage because there are so many factors at play now that differentiate how generation from theirs. Peace.

The problem with Muslims in the world today is ignorant of the religion they are practising. Islam suits every situation only when you strictly adhere to its teaching. Bro, I am presently living in the north doing my post graduate program and anytime I remember how violent some northerners could be, I always pray to Allah to protect my family and myself. The truth is that many northerners are loyalists to their leaders and not the Islam. Northerners generally can be categorized into three Islamic sects, namely; the Sunnis, the Suffis and the Shi'as. All of them claim to be practising Islam as it had been practiced during the time of message of Allah ( May Allah mercy be upon him). So it takes some levels of knowledge to differentiate between what is truly Islam and what is not, any Muslims that practice pristine Islam will never be described as terrorists because we have stipulated rules and regulations that suit every situation.
Let me give an instance, just yesterday night, the Imam of my mosque sat with the elders and leaders of the mosque to tell them the important of social distancing and they concluded that we should stop praying the five daily prayers in congregations. But most of the mosques around are still observing their prayers in congregations due to their religious affiliation and utmost compliance with the directives of their sect leaders, Sir, I can mention a person for you here in the north, if the person says So and so people should converge at so and so place at this time, they would never mind what the government might do. Ignorance of what is required of someone has a Muslim is the main problem Islam as a religion is facing which is beyond observing prayers and bearing of Muslim names.
