Oga everybank on Earth is 24 hours away from distress if there is no depositor confidence, deposit insurance and govt standby bailout ..

Now you are talking.

The lack of the items you listed could trigger distress and NOT withdrawals as you insinuated earlier on.

so more virus sharing in banks

Many WILL GET INFECTED TODAY because of the panic. Banks are FULL. Crowd outside is crazy.

Because of this poorly thought-out announcement, many employers will be unable to pay cos they were waiting for the end of the month to pay.

Sanitizer is strictly for situations where you don't have access to soap and water.

Soap and water works far better than hand sanitizer.

High alcoholic beverage would work better than the fake santizers currently flooding the market.

See if you can buy spirit that's used for treating wound. I bought that and mixed it with cream and put it in a sanitizer container.

It's the high alcohol that protects. The other ingredients are simply moisturizer, water and jelling agents.

So relax.

Thanks for the contribution. I am so grateful

To me Dettol is even better than sanitizer, trust me on that but it's a bit harsh to the skin when used undiluted.
Hand sanitizer is just gel and achohol mixed together.

Thank you! cool

Get kerosene or petrol.
If they can kill other insects an unseen virus shouldn't survive them.

At least until youl get the real thing. Use what's around.
Common detergent, kerosine,petrol.

Alright thank you

So the banks would have been distressed in 24 hours. Wonderful.

Indeed, you are the "economic crisis prevention expert " he should have consulted.

So you don't know that if all depositors go to the banks to withdraw, banks would be distressed. Banks keep less than 30% of deposits available. Yesterday's speech didn't exempt banks from the lockdown and this has caused a rush today. You need to see the crowd at the ATMs. Smaller banks would have to borrow in the interbank market this evening to meet obligations.

Buhari the dullard still doesn't know how banking is sustained cheesy. When I say he didn't consult with Economic crisis prevention experts before reeling out his mindless lock down I know what i am saying ..his thoughtless announcement put pressure on banking deposit a d could have caused the banks to be distressed by the end of today if Banks were not exempted

Here in Europe, banks, super market, pharmacy, etc are allowed to open, if they are shot down, that means people will die.

There was no wide consultation before the lockdown. This is what happens when there is no synergy between the different apparatus.

Unfortunately, opportunists at the head of one ministry or the other are so irresponsible and clueless about what is happening around the world, so the bankers are immuned to the coronavirus or their lives are not as important as the president's family that are fenced from interacting with other populace?

I'm sure the exemption is for ATMs, and other 24/7 bank operations like internet transfer support team and customer service.
yea, but bank staff have to go to the banks and load the ATMs. Their IT staff have to go and make sure that network is up and running. And operations staff have to go as well

If banks were not exempted, all the billions people are donating, how will the money be withdrawn?

Coupled with that, what do people need cash for if they can't shop?
what do u mean? Food, water pharmacy and other essential services will be opened. Are u going to buy them on credit when u get there?
All the money that have been donated, how will they be withdrawn and used for the purpose they are meant for if banks dont open?
