Don't know if any of you have come across this video's on face book.

I just shed tears for that soldier in the last video. While everyone one is chilling in Lagos and Abuja, you see the hell they are going through.

Yet you see ignorant foolish Nigerians talking nonsense, and Abuja politicians living in a fantasy world.

More painful to me is that the General knows if he doesn't make a video and put out, most likely the vampires in Abuja and DHQ/AHQ trying to save face will pounce on them; especially the junior ranks.

If only corona can speed up on these thugs we have

The theatre commander for the matter... cool
Am happy his around to feel what we undergo, things are worst here and boys morale are still high.
For those criticizing the general, things like these needs to happen once in a while so that people in Abuja and AHQ. We need to do serious shopping for the army, right now the Nzegwu/Proforce MRAP should be the standard means for all our troops.

If by now this isn't the thought on everyone's mind in those high offices, then we are in further trouble.

That video suddenly made things clearer than we'd have known. I wish I knew what to say.
I hope the army's strategies continues to get refined and learning from their experiences to be ahead of the enemy.

Ever since the creation of the super camp, BHT knows that attacking these camps would be a suicide mission for them, they’ve changed tactics by attacking/ambushing military convoys and troops temporary base during clearing missions, like recent attacks we’ve had.
For this reason troops need serious fire power and protection in mobility, which we are still lacking. It’s high time we look into giving the army there own dedicated air wing. Even if it means only 3 MI-35 and let the air force handle air interdiction/evacuation of wounded troops & logistics supply.
Bro we are in serious trouble, after a while now they will forget everything casualties, surfaced video online and we have no option to carry on with the fight.

Abuja don't know know what they are doing. How do you explain why some officers are chilling because they are 'some people's wards' while you keep jumping up and down one war zone to another.
Na we like war pass

Does this mean a person can recover from the first version of the virus and be reinfected with a mutated one?

I'm sick of this lock down, about to start pulling me hair out.... oh man, i need the beach so bad right now grin grin
And where is Nemesis getting that info from? and why do you insist on calling it Chinese virus.
I notice everyone who deliberately call it that, Like Trump, are doing it on purpose just to soil China.
It's called Covid-19, use it

I salute the courage of the general on that video. He obviously knows the official channel /way to pass his message, but decided to record a video knowing it will get leaked. The military hierarchy is at present thinking and operating like the Russian military during the second World War, just pushing men to their death. In this war, no tactical or strategic goal, just a war of attrition and a war of "good to go, good to go", good to go where? To be used as cannon fodder? While generals sit in air conditioned offices thinking of the next racket. Na wa o.

7-10 years ago Chinese government had published a military document outlining technologies which are basically disruptive technologies that they need to acquire.

One of such area of technology was tectonic weapons.

Many people consider it fantasy when it is not , it is feasible even within current science limitations to artificially cause seismic disturbances.

Ground penetrating HPM can trigger localised earthquakes

Causing tsunamis is even more easier

I am sorely missing the age of bows and arrows

An IED would not make that kind of crater.

It's either a military or police vehicle loaded with ammunition that can cause this sort of explosion.

Blast waves follow the path of least resistance-it moves through the air. Unless the IED was buried there shouldn't be a crater.

I salute those Men I swr down they are brave strong and relentless.I won't say they were given wrong info..But ISWAP changed tactics quickly against them According to the General A gunship just arrived and was authorised to destroy anything that moves .
He said they were good to go..They have all they need. They are not running and will continue to fight...
The ARA was also with them..
Those men are brave and strong I salute their courage...
How I wish some of us Here on Nairaland can do something that will boost the morale of troops perhaps a motivational video or something a message anything..
Let them know some people are with them..
HIGHEST RESPECT TO SOILDERS OF OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE.
You are talking nonsense, sugar-coating the whole matter. The point is we have Service Chiefs who are increasingly becoming docile and clueless coupled with a C-in-C who is even more clueless. Infact these Service Chiefs should've been in retirement years ago. I see no reason or explanation as to why the Army will continue to rely solely on the Airforce for air support, an Airforce that is obviously under equipped. I'm really pissed seeing these videos, have seen two of them and it isn't what you're trying to paint here. Let's be truthful for once.
Our gallant troops are been led to the slaughter by a clueless Military leadership.

Gen. Adeniyi, the gallant commander who led our troops in Operation Lafia Doyle & who appeared in a video that went viral 2 days ago complaining about the conditions that his troops were facing on the war front with BH was relieved of his appointment yesterday. What a pity!

FFK tweeted the above

I always take what FFK writes with a pinch of salt, for only him knows the brand of weed he takes, but if this message is true, I'm happy for the general and his family, at least he gets redeployed to another place. My only fear is, his replacement might be a puppet with those in charge pulling the strings not minding how many soldiers are sacrificed just to get a pyrrhic victory.

Why are you guys surprised he got removed? He was in a senior position, and in the military, there is code of conduct, especially from those in higher ranks, they'd expect him not to go public the way he did and use normal channels, regardless if his needs were met or not, instead he chose to make a video for the world, which in turn made the military look bad.
Who didn't see this outcome coming? I did.

Not saying it was okay to remove him, but i knew that was gonna happen.

Obviously, the video was not meant for the public. Someone leaked it.

He made the video for the higher echelons to prove to them that the Intel they gave was.

That video prove the lack of good communication channels within the Nigerian military.
