I heard police have been taking bribes at portharcourt borders to let people in

Nigeria are the worst people to keep at the borders

The State borders should not have been closed in the first place. Instead, they should be screening everybody before letting them through. Those that show high temperature should be quarantined for 14 days. Nigerians generally like to play to the gallery.

All Road construction should be finished within this lock down period.
No excuses

Since you support blocking everywhere and preventing movement, how will the workers get to the work sites and back home?

Are you sure they are not affected by this lock down?, what about the employee? Aren't they at home too?

Don't mind the ignorant Nigerians thinking with their behinds. The Nigerian leaders are like the average Nigerians. Never thinking something through before doing it.

Our police and Army are good at road block. In their mind they still people will ignore that order and embark on traveling so that money will come to them. Nigeria is a fraud.

this is exactly what many in the government are thinking about , you cant just lock ppl down in their homes, tell them not to move for 14days, many ppl are daily earners and what they earn a day is even barely enough for the day, how will you now ock such ppl down without giving them anything to sustain them. You will just realize that after a certain period when they cant bear the hunger again they will come out and start going about just to find something to eat

Give the so called lockdown three days and people will start breaching it. Buhari is clueless and should leave the Governors alone to run their States.

I give it Wednesday, maximum Friday this week.
By then the hunger and deprivation would be that unbearable that many people would either openly or carefully be defying the order or find other innovative even if more risky ways to survive.
The bandwagon effect of following everything done by other countries, without any thought process expected of a leader,is what has led us to this point of a president waking up one day and locking down 3 states for 2 weeks.
What the Lagos State governor,a man I hitherto rated poorly, was rumoured to be contemplating even made more sense, dusk to dawn curfew.
His Ogun counterpart, showing a leader that has some analytic brain activity, has also deemed it more sensible to extend the start of the curfew to Friday.
But here,we have a cattle breeder with ultra limited brain activity, clearly unable to analyze issues, come up one day and bang!
Within 24hrs,"I am locking down Lagos,Ogun and Abuja"!
Senselessness.

Lagos and Ogun both asked for extension until Friday before the lockdown takes effect. The requests by the states both granted by The federal government.

It's not about deafness,it's about an incompetent government. Since they are selective about who to help in this period then those who don't get help must render self help.. porous borthers forming security undecided who needs ibadan express to get in or out?

Do you prefer to eat and have the virus? USA has up to 160k of coronavirus case which up to half of it are from new York city. What about Italy and Spain that are finding it difficult to control it now,sir if the government failed to control the virus people going against the lockdown will still insult the government of not doing much to control it ,is painful to have the lockdown but is something we must join the government and support them.
