Hello guys! Am currently in the US on a B1/B2 and i just gained Admission!
Can I convert my B1:B2 to F1 here without having to go back to Nigeria?

You gained admission on a B1 visa, I hope they trust you while issuing an F1 Visa (well you could be innocent though). If you want to get an F1 Visa simply apply for one however, if you want to do it there; you'll have to follow some strict conditions and also be valid on that B1 visa

yes i have a valid B1 status ! Apply for F1 visa will involve going back to Nigeria. The stress is much and filled with many uncertainties.
So i was hoping i do a change of status

Is your B1 visa currently holding a validation of 30 days and over, I'll recommend over 45 days left till expiry, so you'll have to not rush things

yeah! My B1 has over 3 months remaining

With this Corona pandemic, I don't know if application will be up. cuz I think US had suspended visa appointment

If application not possible or suspended till expiry, you'll have to go back to your country to do the regular application.
