I still have some shares of UACN

Their 2019 financial report will give us an idea of what to expect from the business.

You said something on the mgt efficiency going forward.

For result,I think we will see a similar result like that of Wapco.

Market is paying handsomely.
This is one of the reasons I leave cash in my trading account.

What could I have done now if I didn't have money and some stocks to rebalance portfolio at this time.

Those analog traders that always carry cash at hand will be looking for a way to credit their trading acct but no bank is working now.

Believe me,noboby expected any bull at this time and few people are benefitting it now especially those of us always on this thread listening to Onifa

Well said

So I did a broad analysis(using several key variants) to look in on the possible Winners and Losers with the current events in play(covid-19 & oil price strain)... and I found out that the other antifragile coys(aside CAVERTON) are DANGOTE SUGAR, UACN, FLOURMILLS, MTN, PZ, GSK, NEIMETH(and other coys in the health sector), OKOMU OIL and PRESCO.(the 1st 6, particularly the 1st(DS) are superb)

While the likes of WAPCO, ZENITH, GTB, UBA, FCMB, FIDELITY, CADBURY, CAP, BETAGLASS and NB PLC are among coys I consider rubust(with BS/CFs that are strong enough to get through the current crisis).
Again I like the 1st 6, particularly the 1st 3.

For coys that would likely be losers(the worst hit), ALL OIL & GAS COYS(particularly TOTAL and OANDO), NACHO, SKYAVN, TRANSCORP HOTEL, TRANSCORP, VITAFOAM and UNILEVER. ...albeit with the least degree of impact on the last 2 coys.

The way to go;

Of the ANTIFRAGILE and ROBUST category of coys(10 each), it might be worthwhile to align ones portfolio along this 2 category @ a measure that fits ones personality and investment horizon.
...a 70-30%, or 60-40% weighting on the former and latter respectively would be a great idea.
However, emphasis should be given to the best among them.

DISCLAIMER: NOT to be inferred to as any sought of recommendation. ...the need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.

My advise: Pls kindly follow ur instinct.

Some persons will wake up and find that WAPCO, UACN and the few other antifragile and robust coys we mentioned here have returned over 80-115% gain from their current prices !!
Then, certain things will become clearer to them. shocked shocked

...some of them coys have not even started moving up in price yet.(see past post above)

Yes, there'll be bumps(the result of intermittent profit taking) along the way, but forward we shall move !! wink cheesy grin
Time will help set matters straight and put them In their right perspective.

Selah

People are packing Fbnh at 4.50......
Lots of cross deals in Wapco at 11.80, lots of purchases on the floor at 11.80 too...
These two are trending, investors taking positions, not necessarily because of the dividends but because of the much improved results, which will be much rewarding in the nearest future.
We are observing....

Fingers are tensed here to jump on it, but hopefully it would take dips after the dividends season.

How can one calculate Break Even Price for a stock without using the option provided on Morgan. I have some stocks I bought with another broker at a higher price but averaged down using Morgan. Want to be able to set an exit of at least 50% once the price hits the BEP.

Zenith seems to have hit its usual resistance.
GTB still playing around the support level. A breakout seems likely.

Advice is needed here on whether i should sell my Wapco now or not having gained 20% in 2 days?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 11:12am On Apr 08, 2020
Wapco momentum may die today. Buy with caution. A lot of folks are waiting to offload. This a bearish market with fake bulls here and there.

Know your strategy. Long to medium term guys can continue to buy.

If you have reached your target , you can sell

20percent is decent enough this season.

The solution does not require any oga, it's quite simple. The only way out is to join the usual daily queue(full offer) of CAPOIL with the hope of passing it on to another kaya buyer grin. There are a number of stock-investing platforms springing up lately, which is one of the reasons we see people buying DAAR, Multiverse etc. However, the good thing is that he has a diversified portfolio.

Please can you explain what crossing is?
Crossing, by my own understanding is when brokers trade within customers accounts by just moving certain number of units of a particular stock from one customer to another, maybe one customer wants to sell another wants to buy, they just cross it without bringing it to the floor.......but all transactions must passed thru the NSE engine, that's why we sometimes see high volumes being crossed on the engine e.g. the 61M units of GTB crossed yesterday.
* Also, the crossing could be from one stockbroker to another.
That's what I know. smiley

If this news is reliable,I think a lot of stocks can do 10% today and Wapco can do another 10% tomorrow based on general market positive divergence.

Let's continue to enjoy.

The pilots will be kept in the prison for another 12 days, while the police is continuing with their investigations. And the magistrate granted their request without giving them the option of bail while the investigation is going.

The judiciary in Rivers is something else, we know what happened between Kemi Olunloyo and a Popular in that same Rivers State

Ok na,
High court will overrule magistrate court (lower court)
