me self don tire, I have eaten 5 whole pineapple, I don climb stairs tired, I walked for 40 minutes per day. Sex everyday. Nothing yet o, not even a tiny contractions.

You will be just fine. Maternal instincts and your desire to do the best for your baby makes you able to do all things. I was all by myself when I had my daughter. Hubby was even in a different country, no mama, papa or aunty, just me and my baby plus I even had a second degree tear, but I did just fine. So don’t worry, just be excited about meeting your LO

Don't get so anxious mummy. I believe he will come around very soon. I had same experience with my son when he was 3. I was so worried cuz he always spoke with ease and started stuttering all of a sudden. It lasted for about 2 weeks. At the hospital, the doctor I met said it happens to some kids when they are beginning to make longer sentences. Though he gave some advices which I think really helped with my son. He said I should not show so much anxiety which would make the child overly aware and feel there is something wrong with him. Rather, I should always encourage him to be calm when speaking and don't rush his words cuz I can hear him clearly. And don't get everyone around him making so much emphasis on his stuttering else he may intentionally be withdrawn and wouldn't like talking. I worked with this and the stuttering disappeared the same way it started. Though there was relapse about two times again. But he is five years now and speaks very well. But, if u don't feel encouraged by his development, u can engage the services of a speech therapist. All the best ma.

soo sorry bout that, same here. Me I am even in London, no relative . It’s just me and my husband . Av been watching YouTube videos on how to bath babies and take care of newborn .

This reminds me of me three years ago, just me and hubby and we did just find, though I had my Nigerian neighbor show me how to bath my baby when we got back from the hospital and I took over just fine. In fact if it is your first issue I think you will enjoy the bonding. I really did, hubby cooked and store in the freezer and he is mostly at work during the day. So when baby sleeps I will leave everything and sleep. It was a bonding time for my son. I wasn't even scared, because I assured myself that my baby will not die so na me and Google be best friend, if baby cry unusually I will rush to Google expecially baby center and nairaland here but I don't think I will love to do that with this second baby because my first is super active and I no get strength. Don't worry you will be fine, just enjoy the process

Hello mummies, my prince arrived on 09/04/2020 at 11.35am weighing 4kg via vaginal delivery.

Contractions started d previous night and we got to 2 d hospital around 1a.m. I was checked and dey said I was 6cm dilated, so I was told to arrange my baby clothes on d bed. I was so happy that I will deliver very soon. But d devil showed his face o, cos around 4a.m contractions had stopped and I was just 7cm. D doc later inserted sth to augment d contractions around 6, it continued o, but I didn't still reach 10cm. Another drug was inserted and den I was asked to start walking around, my sisters, I was tired and weak by den, at a point I started crying, my mum was consoling me and DH was praying seriously. Before 11am, as we were walking around, I heard a sound in my body, and my water broke I was in so much pains . Went back to s delivery room and was checked and asked to lie by my side and open my mouth and breathe while baby descend. To s glory of God I delivered with tears and he is such a handsome bobo[i][/i] . Vigil is real but I don't mind, am just so grateful to d almighty God that my 12 hours of labor was not in vain. To my April teamies, I wish u all safe delivery, Go to d favour room and conquer.....

Interesting!!! I love your courage. You weren't doing those body pressing i guess. Cos that stuff is not for the fainthearted. Tho we have been told its not nessesary.

Me I did not do it o. I asked myself if all these oyinbo parents dey do am? But their children will always be okay like ours. Every culture has their ways. So my sister I did not and my baby was alright... In fact I made sure nothing touched my baby's navel cod for 3 days, the thing dried up and fell on the third day (well, I did CS so was in the hospital and baby was just cleansed one). I planned on not doing somethings o when I give birth to this baby, but how can I when my aunt and mother in law will be around

How is this lockdown treating you?. Remember that you can still have your evening walks around the neighborhood or your compound.
Just make sure you maintain social distance and use your hand gloves (please don't touch your face with it) and dispose immediately you get home.
May God see you through this stage.
I can't imagine the apprehension you guys will be going through now but be rest assured that God has brought you this far and will not leave you for one minute.
