Not really.
I can buy jdjjdhshhudujdjd.com and built a fabulous website for it. Doesn't change the fact that it is of no value.

Which tracker are you using? I use gmass and I think its very OK for me for now and its with reports also. I don't joke with some reports. Like the name I sold 1500 last month, when I did the outbound, it gave a report that an end user viewed the mail like 6 times within 2 hours despite sending it once. So I was skeptical initially about the reports because it was the first time I will see such. Later the person clicked the link 2 times, and this is what I have been waiting for because it was "make offer", but I put BIN of I think 700 on sedo and afternic. So I kept monitoring the update. This gave me a clue may be I have a potential lead. Following day opened it again and clicked the link. After some days he messaged how much, I said he should go and make best offer, then he quoted 3k, then I was like wao... Quickly went to adjust my other price to 3k, and after much argument here and there for 3 days, he later paid 1500 cos claiming corona and so stuffs of uncertainty.
so at times, when you see them opening frequently, they may be interested and desperate, just calm down, and see if they will click the link, if u have that feature, anytime they click the link, you know they are potential follow up you may focus on later and not putting pressure. And at times may be, it can be bot. But my conclusion is that bot can open email but may not click the landing page. So that alone can give you a clue how it may likely end. cos bot can open - As it delivers it get opened straight.
Waiting I know self, I dey give my oga advice? grin grin

And I will advice some interested dominers to use Gmail template or similar customized templates, that can be downloaded free on webstore. So that you can make it looks professional and colorful and atttractive, adding screenshot and files in between lines as the case may be, even adding signatures making it looks like a company and a boss instead of regular Gmail that will look like an individual. You can increase your lead with that.
Probably I will screenshot sample later when on the system .

This will be my new technique from henceforth angry. I'm sure when he quoted 3k you were like Holy Fxck!!

Lol the 1 sale is still good as I gave the report here too, (1,500) with just ten names then.
To me geo market is saturated now not to talk of pandemic across America. Which makes it more competitive and priced low for those that are interested. I have only 2 geos. My niche is company related domains in many dimensions I can explore, startups, brands, future branding, trends, company other extensions (the best), and catchy short names. If I want to do outbound, the same energy to use for geo domains for less than 300 bucks, I can use it for firms and flip for 3k or less, just what I wish, but any price conclusion I will take to rebuild more.
Geo domain guys that are King's here know how they do it for profits but I want to try something else using same energy. I am still on negotiations on a name, may be 2k will settle it last last. That's what I want build on.
Many people will loose their jobs worldwide after this pandemic, in America it is projected to 30%. Many online businesses will spring ups and we dominers are the ones that will likely sell good names for them. Thats why site like SH are ahead of the game.
Look at a lady named brandly on NP, look at her pattern (go figure out grin), look at the guy selling (. xyz), he said he has over 5000 names, but hey, first year of the extension is less than a dollar, and renewal is around 8$ making it around 9$ with one renewal (sweet deal). He claims he has not break even, but that's a lie, he sells average of 10 names averaging 2k per name in a month. Do the maths. He has lots of single word dictionary names in that extension. He has his own strategy and play smart ones despite that he put them on afternic. Look at our ogas here too with their brandable niches.
It takes patience, build of portfolios on quality names and good strategies to survive in this business as I learn. When you have up to 1500 good names which am targeting , you will see the difference faster, I believe.
I run a check on all 4 and 5 letters English dictionary words yesterday, non, I mean non is available for handreg which is not a surprise. Then I ran another on 5 letters reshuffled names that are not necessarily English words, very few are left. To tell you that the business is advancing. I was able to reg Zuryx.com. Soon you won't see any catchy names that are 5 letters again then it goes on like that. Will hold and I know why. Will reg more too..
Sorry for long letters but we can learn from our selves too by sharing.
so in this business planning, strategy and focus on quality names is my paramount. If I fail next 3 to 4 years, then I will know that its not type of business for me. Ciao.

This is nice. You seem to have a well mapped out plan in your head..

Yep, GEOs is really profitable if you know how and have time and energy to outbound. Infact it may arguably be the only niche u won't have to fear loosing money, because hey! If it doesn't sell after a year u drop them and move to other geos!

And as for the xyz guy, it may be true he is not on profit YET, or he may not be satisfied on the profit he is making.
The problem with other niches other than Geo, is that, in most cases names will enter 2nd ,3rd year before they sell, now if u have thousands of names, u may be at lose after annual renewal. But as for geo like i said, I DROPAM AND MOVE ON grin
Well, my focus is still geo, but I'm exploring brandables too, while i learn about them i drop unregistered names to SH, and see what and what they collect, and i can say I'm progressing because for the past two weeks i started, SH accept my names every other day. The SH portfolio serves as long term investment, the geos serve as quick flip.
We shall see how e go be!
More sales to us all.

We are on same ship cool, brandable is good buh it's a long term investment. Geo is for fast flip, suggesting to SH, is another good investment, and you would also get to know more about brandable from what they accept or not. And still be able to make some cash too.
Las las we would dey alright.

Yes oo, perfectly said. What ever you need to be successful, do it well o. How many geo domains you have?
How do you get unregistered SH names? Sourced for them online or brain storming? That's what am exploring too, but my first 5 batches of names are rejected. You can share more info if you can. Thanks.

I have 109 domains (SH registered included) and 60% are Geos.
Last year, i just brainstorm on names and submit to them, d way they were stoning me with those names ehnn grin grin

So i chilled, February i started proper reading on brandables, i read whatever i get my hands on, and i read Keith DeBoer articles on DNGeek at least twice. I'm still reading on brandables!
I then always study SH names patterns, i also have words that i randomly combine, check GD bulk search to see ones available, pick them and pick the best out of them, after proper scrutiny i submit to SH. My approval rate has improved.
Sometimes i brainstorm on names too

Lol. It's like that because you didn't filter your search. Nevertheless, contact the owner of this thread for quick tutorials or simply start reading this thread from page 1 or quick visit on simplerocket's post about Expireddomains filters tutorials.

House,

I saw a deleted name-dropped today with the following:

4.0K - BackLink

260 SG (Global Monthly Search)

42 - COMP

$13.5 - CPC

And 69.6 million search results on Google. Does these figures makes it a good catch?
