Do you know that the average Nigerian is likely to have paid more taxes than their oyibo counterparts?

What of the market woman who pays shop permit, environmental levy, sanitation fee and other nonsense fees to local govt, state govt etc, is that one not bigger than tax?

VAT doesn't really count, it's all kinds of income and property taxes im talking about. Yes workers may pay PAYE, but how many owner-businesses and shops and traders pay income taxes?
