This is a welcome development, but has the government made provisions for students on how to have access to radio and television? There is no electricity supply, many of the parents cannot afford to buy fuel to power their generator at this trying time, many don't have generator. The school-on-air of a thing cannot be effective in this country.

Osun is very small, it can only be seen with the aid of a microscope. No pun intended

You could have used this same time to check its land mass and population on google
i disagree with you on this. av u been to d state before? wen u start moving within osun, u will know dat. forget d land mass u see on Google. and dere are many factors dat makes osun state conducive, one of dem is good electricity supply, low cost of living, good accessible roads, security etc.

These politicians believe most citizen are fool
Is Nigeria advance to the level of online education
What's the arrangements on ground for the citizens..... wifi, fuel, power stability
Why can't they convert the money they want to waste to food items
Do you think students will assimilate without eating..... don't let's deceive ourselves, it's just a political propaganda

All this propaganda just to trend and remain politically important.

Where is the power supply? Any plan for generators and fuel to the students ?

A lot of students are apparently on hunger strike with their parents.
Are you OK Osun state is one of the few states in Nigeria where more than 80% of it's population enjoy uninterrupted power supply. Ask anybody.

Osun state. The manifold for fund looting..
Most un-sustainable project we have at the upper end today springed from Osun state.

They introduced "Opon Imo" as project to distribute iPad device to all secondary school students of Osun state, the supply of millions of iPad device contract awarded to the son of the Governor.. Millions of Naira perished there without accountability..

Feeding of school children was also introduced by same Osun state government with claims to have exhausted the state treasury on that singular project and subsequent. Proposal to federal arms of the ruling party, by proxy or by due diligent, school feeding project has come to stay with tangible proportion of our annual budget.

This is a state without programs, running on formality preference..

They know little than they assume to know and will soon start clamoring on network issues, cyber security challenges and all sort of after they must have succesfully comitted an unaccountable sum of money to this projects.

Federal government gave palatives to Nigerians through the state governments, the palatives was used to compensate political suporters in Osun state, after keeping people on hold for days, 2 cups of rice was finally given to each household without adress or any explanation..

#Amiloaded will not publish happening in her own state, but rather busy posting update on activities in Kaduna, Kano and Borno..

Time will tell..

Good initiative

How is this a good initiative...this is just a copycat move from abroad.... but they’ve forgotten abroad has done the needful by making sure there’s constant light and internet....

How can u a governor be shouting school on air when there’s no light.. and u people will be saying good night initiative....it’s like buying extra tyre when u don’t even have a car...

A welcome development!

But the big question is how do Osun state Government intend to actualize this.

No 1.How do you expect an hungry man to learn in the presence of hunger crises?

2. Are they providing free internet service atleast for those who even have an android device?

3.How are pupils in the rural comunities expected to cope with that?

4. Are they providing a steady power supply?

As far as am concern all of such strategy is meaningless in a country like Nigerian with poor infrastructural development.

School on air?
A welcome development in a failed society. If I may ask;

1. Do they give free data? If no, it's failed
2. Do they have stable electricity? If no, it's failed
3. Other factors; Computer knowledge & affordability

If any of these factors is still opened, it's an error!
