Why must it be shoe? The same president you accused of wearing foreign shoes while campaigning for the growth of our internal industries. Some of you are natural haters.
Had it been he wore shoes you people would have been talking about the price of the shoes

My own point is. Aside the shoe issue which I’m less concern of. Buhari has failed the Masses except few the diehard supporters he enriched and those will continue shouting his praises

Let him finish his tenure and go back to his daura. We can’t wait. But my earnest prayer is that God should himself raise us a GOOD leader. Because Nigerians keep making wrong choices

I actually think you are less concerned about the president's success or failure because even if he turned Nigeria into the most developed country in the world, you still won't like or respect him since your main issue revolves around hatred, bitterness, tribalism and bigotry.

Everyone on here supporting the palms slippers move would shun their own logic if they are called for an interview in a multinational company.

You will see these same people in full suit and tie, not ONE will wear slippers.

Nigerians and trivialities!

He dresses modestly, some empty heads praises him to be a saint that does not steal.

He wears a Gucci shoe, some pawpaw heads will say he has robbed us blind.

Imam of Peace is right after all, "A stupid.... is elected by a stupid people". In other words, blame your selves for voting incompetent leaders since 1999 till date.

But this is not an interview in an international company, this is what wear in Nigeria and what millions of Nigerians wear every day here in Nigeria.

Kolomental analogy.

How is company interview relevant to the President's broadcast?

The President can dress as he likes just as the interview panelists can dress as they like.

It is you the job seeking poverty stricken applicant that is mandated to borrow money to dress well for the interview.

So yes we would not go for an interview with Slippers, neither will we be so foolish to berate the interviewer for dressing as he likes when that is not our business at the interview, nor is it our place to start showing our intolerance as job seekers.

Was the broadcast even showing his leg, or this is just a behind the scene pictures?

So was he suppose to wear a shoe to please the cameraman if the public would not even see it in the broadcast because the podium would be rightly blocking out the lower half of the President?

If he wore a shoe, will your wickedly wailing heart not lament that the President is displaying vanity when Nigerians are dying?

If I may add, do you wear a shoe while sitting at a desk to participate in a Skype interview that is showing only your face/bust on the computer screen of your interviewer?

So who is the President pleasing if he wore a shoe that only the cameraman and backstage staff can see as you have now seen in these backstage pictures and not during the actual broadcast when a podium covered the lower half of the President?
