CoronaVirusPro: Chai! did you read what you wrote? A Presidential Address is not a Press briefing!. The "Press" in Press briefing, does not stand for "President"! He was addressing the nation, you only give a Press briefing when you come out of a Meeting and you need to let the Press know what went transpired in the meeting! And the issue is not about the address itself, it is that he is performing an OFFICIAL FUNCTION and needs to be properly dressed for it. Slippersis not it, whether they can see it or not. Now, l cannot but conclude that there is a serious problem in Nigeria's educational system. I know trying to teach you numskulls about ETIQUETTE is like trying to teah a Horse how to Fly.

Daboomb: Empty head! I meant what I wrote. Interviewer is not even at the level of the President, so if you can respect an interviewer as a poverty stricken applicant, and not question how the interviewer dresses, why then question the President's dressing? Summarily, the idiot was comparing Apples to Oranges by using an analogy of an applicant who has to be seen as conforming at an interview, as opposed to a President who owes no one an explanation as to how he dresses when he is the authority and not the applicant. But just like you, his traumatized soul must find a meaningless purpose in life, than have no purpose at all. So wail on. And putting on just a shoe becomes vanity to those who will scrutinize its brand, and tell us how many respirators could have been procured with the same money wasted on a Fulani whose kinsmen herdsmen walkabout without shoes. So we know already that there is a pandemic of hypocritical and "unpleasable" idiots all over the internet, looking for a reason to be more miserable. 3 Likes |

As simple as Mr. President is (just like Obama), that is why a media staff will also have his hands in his pockets and facing the president. The camaraderie in the Villa is just there. idealogical: |

Throwback: You mean you dont know that MARKS are awarded for proper Dressing in an Interview? No wonder you never survived an Interview and keep complaining of being jobless . It is called "Dress Code or Dress Etiquette" BTW, you still dont get it! You are still blissfully IGNORANT! The Interviewer is the Person CONDUCTING the interview, not the person being interviewed (Applicant). Shior, failed education everywhere! |

Re: 'President Buhari Wore Pam Slippers To Address The Nation Instead Of Shoes' by EagleSquare1(m): 7:42pm On Apr 14, 2020 |
I assume the president’s supposed slipper could be the one that looks like a full shoe in front and can only be viewed as slipper from behind or the side. Obviously it looks formal when worn with the traditional attire, and I’m sure Mr. President will not wear that with a suit. The people condemning him need to put up so many definitions to defend their position, which I think will be challenging to them due to the contradictions they will face CoronaVirusPro: |
