this is just a simple question. but everyone is turning it to something else. forming all mighty formulae. just make n the suject formulea

S=[n(2a+(n-1)d]/2
first we expand the inner bracket , which will give us

S= [n(2a + nd-d]/2 ---- here we expand the next bracket

S = [2na + n^2d - dn] / 2---- here we can remove the bracket to

S= 2na + n^2d - dn / 2 which is same as

dn = 2na + n^2s - S /2

Multiply through by 1/d

1/d * dn = 1/d ( 2na + n ^2s -S ) / 2

divid through by 1/d

n = 2na+ n^2s -S / 2d put them into bracket. compact it by simplifying

n = n(2a+n2s)-S / 2d

Lol you can't solve this without completing the square method or Almighty formula (quadratic formula)
That you answer is not valid
