The most likely scenario is that he was already brain dead at the time Aunty Kemi publicized his death. Being brain dead means the same as being clinically dead and it is an irreversible situation. However, his organs were likely still kept operational by a ventilator/life support until the family decided to pull the plug. The announcement came after the plug had been pulled.
