It's not a cable problem. Tried many follow come cables and USB socket, but still the same problem. the problem is charging port. A very terrible manufacturer error

I've not been able to use my X5 since I posted my last comment because of faulty charge port. I met a guy here who sells X5 charging port and fortunately his shop is in ikorodu and I live in ikorodu. But sadly the two charging ports he fixed in my phone didn't work. I left the phone with him because he promised to find his way to computer village in ikeja. He called me later yesterday to say that he couldn't find the X5 charging ports there. I guess because of the lock down. I'm even losing hope on the phone sef. If I manage to get it fixed, I will sell with any given chance and get another phone.
The charging port is a terrible and frustrating experience for me. Lost so many things because of this phone

I'm planning to get another phone after this whole lockdown issue sef. I can't continue with it. Though I'm still using the phone presently. I do charge it once in a day when i get the right connection. I use to charge it overnight with my power bank. Getting the right charging connection is really frustrating that sometimes I feel like smashing the phone on ground. It's really a great phone but the charging issue is a great no no. If this corona issue subsides and dollar comes down a little I will get another phone. That's just the only solution. You can try AliExpress, I saw some reviews there about people who purchased the charging board and it works. I will place an other too after this lockdown but I will still get another phone

gorilla glass yes it is. I didn't use mine with any screen guards either.

My Nokia X5 has been charging very very slowly of recent. Takes 8-9hours to charge full when the battery is drained out. It's so annoying especially with epileptic power supply in my area. Who else has experienced this and any lasting solution. Thanks

Thanks but my Airtel line shows LTE, MTN shows H+, even had to buy another MTN 4G Sim but still showed H+, when I inserted the MTN Sim into a Tecno camon 12 it showed 4G

It seems the charging port is the major issue with this phone, I've been using the 5.1+ for over a year now and the charging port is the only issue I have encountered and it's really frustrating. I have been managing the port for 7 months same way you're, by charging with Oraimo power bank overnight or during the day, all by finding the right position. It takes 4hrs or sometimes 5hrs for it to be fully charged.

Best solution is, take it to the nearest Nokia care center and replace the faulty part. This is what I have been intending to do o but the nearest Nokia care center to me are both still far away, Asaba and PH. But after this lockdown, I go struggle do am, I nor go reason the journey.
