my phone is giving me issues, Its an infinix phone hot 6 pro to be precise. once I call somebody the screen completely shut down no matter how I press the power button the screen will never wake until the other person ends the call, same thing if I receive an incoming call. please how do I set the phone in order?

Mine did same thing , I have to return it after 2 days , brand new phone ,

Try using an earpiece to make/take calls and see what happens.

It means your phone can't process properly again because the processor can't get enough memory to function. The common cause of usually behavior like this is low application dedicated memory space. So I suggest you go to settings.. Then app.. Then move some heavy apps to memory card or delete th if they aren't that important. Let me know the outcome. Have a nice day.


PS: your case might be an entirely different the problem. But try what I said first.

Try this: swap the sims, put sims II in sim I and make sb call you. Thank me later with two thousand Naira.

The proximity sensor Don DEy get issue be dat. Meet engineer to check it for u. Either removed finally or blocked or simply go to setting and switch off anti inadvent and try again

I'm also using hot 6 pro but nvr experience a problem like that

I thinking you should restore the phone to defaults settings as it may be due to software problem

Or you check the sensor at the top left corner of the phone and make sure it's not covered

Infinix and Techno products usually come with one form of problem or another..

Leave all those substandard china phones .the least iPhone 6 is miles better and more durable

Like u recently changed the screen or touch pad? There is obviously a problem with the proximity sensor.

The problem is the sensor, it's blurred/blocked so once a call connects it will assume the phone is close to your ear(which is what it's meant to do) and then turn off the screen light.

But pressing the power button is supposed to bring it on.

Things you should do to confirm.

Connect a call and show the screen to direct sunlight.

Make a call with earphone.

If the screen stays on then it's obviously the sensor.


Did you change the touch pad or install a screen guard?

Are you using glass screen protector? If yes, then it means your screen protector has become defective, and it's interfering with the signal of the proximity sensor, remove the glass protector and if it stops then you'll have to put new glass protector. Mine was like that and I changed the protector, now it's working fine.

Its the proximity sensor(the sensor that automatically switches off the screen when you put it close to your ear during calls to avoid accidentally touches)
Its malfunctioning, take it to a phone repairer

Had the same issue.
It's the proximity sensor, it's blanks out the screen to save power if u are on calls and hold the fon close to your ear.

I just went to settings and dedicated my end call button to the power button by the right, after making calls I just tap the power button once and my screen lights up again, I hope this helps.

1.did you change your phone screen when it broke.
2. Did you place a screen guide on it.
3. Did you mistakenly sleep over the phone.
All boils down to sensor malfunction. Which of them happened. Before I give solution. If non indicate or recall your last action, before this problem came up.

Just go to settings, accessibility - assign power button end call, you are done.

This is the worse thing I've seen on the internet today. You speak with so much confidence on what you're not sure about.
That phone has it's proximity sensor blocked internally or damaged .

Trashfinix. I rather own an iphone 5 than use their phones.

My dear all this Chinese phones do expire after one year. After one year u start noticing funny faults. Just get ready to buy another phone cos as soon as that phone is opened, it's life will never be the same again. Always sell ur phone from 10months old.
