Hello.
Please I am trying to connect with guys that will be resuming study this September at Estonian universities. Please indicate. And what are you plans for obtaining your Estonian Visa?
Some are saying Egypt, Russia, Turkey, Israel, India, etc
Please which one should we do? Which one are you doing and how. I am clueless atm.

Also I'm hearing someone saying VFS Global can help us get there in Nigeria through the Belgian embassy. How true is this? Have anyone tried it?

Thanks in advance

I would also be resuming study in an Estonian university this September, and would love to connect with others as well. I currently do not know which routes are better and I would appreciate any form of advice on the matter.

Hi Guys,

How is everyone here? I know that some of you would have gotten your admission letters by now. Congratulations! For this set of people, i cannot emphasize how important it is for you to get your visa early especially with this COVID 19 lock down. you need to be strategic with your point of entry.
On this note, i would discuss different routes with you (Disclaimer; This is my personal opinion).

Egypt: In my opinion this is the easiest route, especially if you have a good travel history. The only thing here is to apply early because it takes time to process the Visa. This was the route i used.

Israel; Not sure of this route, although Godswill Nkwusi usually arranges this travel package for incoming students. A bit expensive in my opinion.

Turkey: A good route. Make sure you book an appointment early. If you are currently working for a company, you could arrange with your office to give you a letter stating that you are an employee and would like to go on vacation. Apply for a tourist visa.

London: Not worth it. Very difficult especially if you have a VIRGIN passport.

India: Am not sure they are giving tourist visa to Nigerians. Although i have a friend who applied to an Indian school, got a study visa without paying school fees, landed in India and applied for d visa at the Estonian embassy.

Dubai: There are claims about this route but i dont know anyone that has used it.

Ukraine: A friend tried this route and was deported back to Nigeria. He was not allowed to enter Ukraine.

People have asked me about the schegen route. Its not easy. Getting a schegen visa from Nigeria is not the easiest thing. I honestly do not advise it because you would end up wasting money.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for this info, the egypt route seems like a better option, but with little or no travel history on my part how do I go about it?

Hi house, I’m looking at the option of getting a schengen visa. Is that advisable? Also, is there anybody going to Estonia in September? Particularly EUAS.

I would be going there as well, but not to EUAS, can we connect?

Is Abu Dhabi accepting visa application for study purposes? I don't think so....... Egypt, Turkey , Israel, India and Russia still possible options.

I sent them an email last week. They haven't started work yet. And COVID-19 has also delayed their planned start.

I sent a mail to the embassy in Abu Dhabi via Facebook and this is what they have to say regarding D-visa in Abu Dhabi embassy:

Hello!

We will not start accepting D visa applications before September. Please apply for your visa in one of these Estonian Embassies: https://vm.ee/en/estonian-representations-which-are-handling-visa-applications. Please note, however, that currently the admission of visas in all our representations has been temporarily suspended due to emergency situation related to COVID-19. Estonian borders are closed until May 1 (subject to extension).

Kind regards,
Embassy of Estonia

You’re talking as if learning language is like drinking water. It’s very difficult at an adult age
Unlimited22:

Lol. As for the first two points, we've already established here several times that it's best if you are studying IT courses. And why would you not want to learn the language of a country you want to settle in? Msc courses there are two years long, that's enough time to get to a certain level of mastery if one really wants to.

And as for racism, nowhere in the world will any country not consider their citizens and close neighbours first.

Even in Nigeria, most people will hire their brothers and kinsmen first, so what's the big deal?

I know it's best to research on as many countries as possible and make an informed decision, but still....

Out of everything he said, it’s only racism you heard? You did not hear that IT courses help to pave way for you? Build network with people that don’t want you in their country? Position yourself well on top where Abeg? Anyway the tuition is not much so you can easily elope if things don’t work out.
ministerblessed:

Pardon me but there’s nothing to rethink. He’s talking based on his experience which will not be the same for everyone. Africans everywhere face racism, even black Americans face racism. The image of Nigeria/ Africa has been dented internationally.
I believe the most important thing is get your education, position yourself well, grow your network and work smart. There are people who are making it there.
Thank you!!!

Please I have a question
About applying to Estonia
1) is the test of English language compulsory, because the English language test I'm seeing is really expensive
2) the scholarship how difficult Is it to get
3) if I get admitted, must i pay my full school fees before going to start my schooling?
