Shea Moisture is the brand. Different “flavours”.
I have been using the 100% virgin coconut oil shea butter soap, it has coconut milk. It lathers very well too. During the dry season I used/will use the ones with added ingredients for dry weather/dry skin.
My only problem with it is how it is not available everywhere in my city, meaning I have to pay a lot for it. I would love to be able to buy many (at least 12) at once, and forget about soap for a long while.
But the soap is good shaa.

Wow! You're sure it's original? I prefer to buy mine in reputable stores sha since the one time I fell prey of fakes. Irish spring on the other hand strips my skin of much needed oil, so I don't go near it despite its lovely fragrance.

One tablet of Irish Spring is 300/350 ooo. That pack of 3 is 1000 here. The cheapest Dove was always 250/280 for one tablet. That’s also the smallest tablet. I envy those who can use any soap without itching or feeling papery.
I am coming to Mushin now now.
Carry your soap to a supermarket/ another area and check well well with what they have. Or the expiry dates if any? It sounds too good to be true.

I heard it doesn't foam?

Dove moisturizing soap is mega crap!

It dries up the skin, and there's also this uncomfortable itchy feel you get....like invisible insects crawling on your face skin.
Lux might be cheap but it is way better.
Palm olive original is also a good choice.

The next time I am in Lagos I will try it out. Imagine seeing my soap for 1800 there? Will go with one to compare with.
Maybe they sell cheaply because of fairer import duties? I don’t know how this works but that’s really cool. I see fine slippers and jeans on my friends and when they tell me the price they got them for in Lagos (Mainland), I am always amazed. But the ones on the Island, story for another day

Ok...who knows, they might have special distribution sources. I heard things are incredibly cheap at tradefair.

black soap is not for everyone.

A lot of skincare sellers now mix all sorts into black soap. Had a terrible reaction to it once.

I wasn't recommending, I was teasing the person I quoted.

If you want to use black soap, use the Ghana version wrapped in brown/white paper.

It is 'natural' and use it as a base for your 'black' soap if you are experimental.

I had inflated the price by one whole K. Not deliberately, sorry about that.

Dove soap is highly recommended by dermatologists. I think most of those giving negative feedbacks here need a soap that would bleach their skin instead.

Feel free to use it.

One of the best moisturising soaps you can ever think of

Yes! Been using it on and off for 10yrs now.

It moisturizers your skin by leaving that after bath feel of cream and makes you darker. I'm fine with the dark and absolutely love the moisturizer in it.

It also has lovely fragrance and doesn't "foam" too much.

I especially love the gentle exfoliating
variant....you won't look back.

For the German made...the US made is much more expensive. But I'm very happy with the made in Germany

It sorta made me darker though I heard its not the soap's fault. Who cares? Black is beautiful... Try the gentle exfoliating but ensure you only buy from reputable stores.

Dove is imported wasnt made for black people skin, you will get more darker especially with the amount of fakes in the market.

If you're not dark skin, don't use it. It darkens the skin
