Evening Guru's
what is the correct NOC to use for express entry profile. My work experience or my Educational qualification. As we all know as it is in the country. You studied Chemistry and you found yourself working as a banker with Years of experience in banking while no experience as a chemist. Am i to choose NOC that fits my experience or my qualification.

Your choice of NOC should be based on your valid work experience

This Corona pandemic is beginning to get to me. I haven't even written my ielts cry only God knows how long this lockdown would be for), how long it's going to take for my BCS results to be out (it's usually around 10 weeks), with this pandemic now I cant even say when to expect it.
Would Canada still be nice with their immigration process? So many questions.
I need some cheering up please! cry

ProfessorJim:
I just got an email from IELTS MOD that the result of those with successful EOR will be printed after the lockdown and we are all quite aware that this lockdown, especially in Lagos, doesn't have an end in sight. The thing here is that most of us just need to know the new scores and I heard on this forum that they usually update the online scores so why don't they want to do that now even when I suggested the idea. A friend even told me that some countries send IELTS scores using SMS. The funny thing is that you can still request for an EOR presently; isn't that double standard. Why is it that organizations in Nigeria enjoy making simple processes complex for Nigerians? I might have a wrong perspective concerning this situation tho and I stand to be corrected. Please, guys, don't take this serious o, I'm just ranting... #StaySafe

They should have uploaded it or better still scan and send along withr the refund form.

Good evening House. I have been a follower of this Canada immigration forum for some time. Previously, i have been a bit reluctant to pursue this objective, but believe me....i am so ready now to leave Nigeria. However, i need your assistance and guidance.
(1) how do i go about IELTS and ECA valuation now, because this pandemic seems to be disrupting everything. Are they still working now??

(2) Can i get my Transcript from my school (UNIZIK) and have it mailed by courier to WES by myself.

(3) Concerning Reference letter; i worked with a Retail business outlet for some years( Registered business) and i am wondering if a recommendation letter from the CEO will be okay.

(4) Do i need to have the estimated fund available now in an account or is it necessary only when one has got an ITA??

Thank you house. I hope to be among the ITA recipients soon. Stay safe.

1) IELTS - register for the IELTS with the British Council and write the exam. Exams are suspended now though because of COVID 19

ECA - register with WES (Canada) and when you pay, you get a reference number.

You can send your transcript using the following:

Option 1 - https://wes.etx.ng. This is sent electronically but can take a longer time.
Option 2 - ask Exams and records to send directly to WES Canada. Transcript must be in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official at the institution.
Option 3 - if Exams and record gives you the document to send to WES, it MUST be in a sealed envelope.

Always quote your reference number

3) Reference letter - what’s your job description? Check the National Occupational Classification and see where you fall in. Check page 1 for reference letter format (not recommendation letter).

4) Funds - when you receive your ITA, funds should have been in your accounts for 6 months.

Anyone here waiting for the Pandemic to be over so they can get on with their relocation plans?

I'm tired, frustrated and sad. We were supposed to leave on the 28th of March. Copr will expire in July. This journey has been on our mind since 2018! And now that we were ready to move, we're stuck. I feel trapped.

I've resigned from work, my husband has sold his business and machines, we've even cleared out our apartment and now I don't know when we'll leave again.
I'm just so sick and tired of worrying and wishing to leave Nigeria. Sorry, just needed to vent

Sorry about that, Pearlobi. A situation as this could be frustrating, but you shouldn't let it weigh you down.

I believe this pandemic will be overcomed soon.

Gurus in the house all I see is CIMA and BCS as certificate to boost CRS, please is there any other short course that can be taken in HR.

UNILAG HRDC won't start until some time in July and it's a nine month program, I can't wait.

I feel CIMA is all about calculations and I'm not superb with calculations, I don't have a background in accounting, finance or banking. All I have is a BSc in psychology.

BCS has its next in take September and I'll be 30 in Oct can't afford to loose any point.

Please what certified course can I take between now and September so I'll have time to prepare for IELTS.

Suggestions please.

You can actually do cipm

manitoba is not nominating family stream since july 2019.even if they were friends points cant give you LAA. Try learning French and write tef to boost your scores. Manitoba is currently a dead end
