US has lost about 50,000 of its population to COVID-19 in less than one month. The first picture shows position of US and some other countries as at about 8:40pm today, 24/4/2020 while the second pix shows US and some other countries position on the 26/3/2020.
It shows that US 50,350 people in 28days at average of 1,798 death per day.

They are reporting on the exact words he said. Why would you even defend a president advocating for disinfectant as a form of treatment. If Buhari said such would you defend it? It isn't the media's fault that Trump reasons like a 5 year old.

Why is the reporter filling in what Trump meant to say if that is what he said? Why not just leave it at Trump's voice alone, rather than sayiing "he was implying they inject disinfectant?"

When you think about it, you will see that some oral medicines have disinfectant version, and one of them is the very Cloroquine that has been in the news.

Chloroquine sulfate is an oral medication
Chloroquine phosphate is a disinfectant
Chlorine dioxide is a disinfectant used in water you drink

Finally, the word is, Trump was passing a coded message that some medicines are made with dangerous chemicals. You bunch of sissies is the reason the cat is taking so long to bell.

Most of Trump's dumb ignorant remarks should never be before national TV, it should be behind the scenes.

Nigeria may have many issues, but the way our daily briefing is done is more line with international best practice.

Usually the SGF will set the ball rolling by dealing with strictly administrative issues and the like. You can never see him delving into the technical matters which is handled by either Dr Ehanire or the NCDC boss. That is the way it should be.
