CHAPTER FOUR


"Thank you ma" Melody said to Mama chidera as she extends the money to her. Melody counted the naira notes and smiled. "5k Ma, aaah eshe ooo, thank you," she completed folding the money.


"Just manage it my dear, you know if i had my way i would have brought you out from the slums and give you a better life, you are a good woman and also hardworking" the woman said.


"Don't worry Mama chidera, you are already doing a lot for me thank you. let me quickly rush to the market before sun down" she explained carrying her old bag.


"Okay my dear, take care of yourself" the woman said bidding her farewell.



Melody trekked under the scorching sun with smile evidently written on her face. That was the reason she loved working for Mama chidera because she adds few naira notes to their agreed payment. She got to ogbe ogonogo market and took the next turn to her right, she went straight to one of the elderly women selling garri, she bought a paint and proceeded to the rice section.


"Madam, how much is a paint of rice?" she asked as she picked few seeds of the rice for more scrutinization.


"1,500 ooo, and na better rice wey dey swell for pot" the seller said.


"oya put one paint for me"


"Okay, my customer" the woman replied.





He watched her closely as she bought food stuff, he had seen her when she arrived at the market earlier on and right at that minute he already knew he had found his next victim, he had to get down from the car and follow her. Yes, he liked them plumpy and very fair, he imagined how sweet she would be in bed.


"Aboki give me two tubers of yam abeg, the cheapest ones ooo, you know say money no dey for now" he heard her say and smiled, she looked poor and wretched and she would surely beg for her life when he finally comes for her. Oh how much he loved it when his victims beg him and yes, when they also struggle, he liked it.


He followed her out of the market as she crossed to the other side of the road to board a tricycle, he got into his car prepared to follow up. She flagged down a trycycle and hopped in, he followed them at a close range. She stopped at the Metro bus stop and alighted, he stopped too and watch her as she walked down the dirty street. He finally turned on the ignition and left.

CHAPTER FIVE



The stalker got home tired and exhausted from his journey. he went to his bedroom, stripped and went to the bathroom to have a good bathe. He turned on the shower and the cold water splattered on his body and slowly ran down to his belly, he winced in pain, he look down on his stomach and smiled, his last victim had scratched him on his belly when he was trying to penetrate into her womanliness. He smiled again, he loved it when they inflict pain on him and when they leave a scar, it was a sign of their struggle.


He turned off the shower and stepped into the room, sitting on the bed, he brought out his camera and started going through the pictures he took for the day, he smiled continuously and his penis grew large and hard, he held it and caressed meticulously.


"I can't wait to have you in bed my dear new found friend" he said as he stared at the picture of his new victim. "you are so beautiful" he said again with his hand still caressing his hard member. He took his bag and he poured the contents on the bed, he picked the pictures and entered the cojoined room where he pasted his victims pictures on the wall. He added his new victims picture and smiled. It had been five girls already, five victims already.










"Come on Man, you are still in your camouflage? you need to freshen up and have a change of clothes" Ebube told Joel on entering the house. He had gone to get food for them.



"I don't feel like doing anything, i just want to sit down here till morning" Joel replied in a daze.



"Hey Mr lover lover, you don't give orders in my house, we are no longer in Somalia, right now you will take orders from me. Get up and go freshen up, food will be served in a minute" Ebube replied but then regretted why he called him "Mr lover lover" it would make him remember his dead fiance.



"I am so sad right now, am angry, if i hadn't left for Somalia, mercy wouldn't have died, I don't think i can survive this, my heart is heavy" Joel replied letting out a sob.



"It's alright to cry man, it's alright to hit a punching bag, it's alright to feel sad, it's alright to scream loudly while crying but don't ever blame yourself for her death, everything happens for a reason" Ebube consoled.



"So, can you tell me the reason Mercy died?" He asked.



"You might not know it now bro, just calm down, i know you are hurting, it is so painful but you have to let go" He said.



"Who would have even had the guts to kill the fiance of a soldier? a captain for that matter, is he not scared?" He said softly.



"The reason you need to be strong so that you would find her killer, that is the best thing you can do for her now".



"but where do i start from? how do i catch her killer?" he asked calmly.



"Start by getting out of that Camo, go straight to the bathroom, freshen up and then come down for dinner" Ebube replied with a smile.
