The only brother I had, he came back from boarding sch and all of a sudden his stomach started growing big, was taken to a hospital in PH and was diagnosed of kidney problem, he stays with my uncle and his family, they were abt leaving country for holiday and I was called to come stay with him at the hospital just few days to Xmas. 3 days after xmas he became unconscious and went into coma, we transferred him to UPTH, just at the point of opening a file for him, the guy gave up in my arms. Since dec 2009 till now I still cant explain how he went from one lively dude to a lifeless guy in a body bag

In summary, David died the same week our exams was about starting. He was hit by a reckless lorry driver on his way to his dad's provisions shop. He died on the spot nd rumour has it that b4 he gave up the ghost he muttered the following words, "my dream of becoming a doctor has ended". And since then av always wanted to become a doctor 4 David but the Nigerian factor destroyed that dream. Till today I still remember my brilliant nd selfless frnd whose bright future was cut short by a drunk driver.

Pls I'm sorry 4 the long post nd some of the errors you'll notice. David died exactly on the 25th of April, that's why I brought up this topic. Pls share ur own.

Lost my mother just last year. Her burial was in her birthday. I miss her every second. Rest in peace Ma!

I loved her and was sad seeing her battling with diabetes. At a point her right leg was amputated, she became a shadow of herself yet I was still her favorite person. She wanted me to be happy and be a better me. Shortly before her death, I stop going to the hospital because I couldn't fight the tears knowing fully well that she was dying and there was nothing I could do. She kept asking for me. I saw her last 30th September, that day she soiled herself, i cleaned her up fed her and changed her clothes. I was doing all that in tears, she will summon her last strength to ask, " mummy are crying? I will be fine okay". My heart was broken into pieces yet I asked God to grant her rest because she was in pains. she died 1st October

My two brothers died within the space of one year. The first one which is our first born died of heart related issues, was with him in the hospital for one month, he was discharged and three months after, he gave up the ghost.

Then our last born, had a dream about him that we were mourning him, I prayed about it, got family members involved in the prayers but three months after, he was having lunch/break time at work, and he choked on the meat in his mouth, rushed to the hospital but was too late.

I've always cried each time I remember the memories of the two of them. cant take them off my mind. Continue to rest in peace my lovely brothers.

Death of my only sister. she was more than a sister. We ate together, slept in one bed, wore the same clothes. Can't get over it up till now, anytime i remember the incident that led to her death, i feel like revenging but God know s better. I still wish her peace where ever she is now.

I miss five great people...

First is my easy going mum, i miss her... My mum was so gentle and easy going, she doesnt likes any wahala. In fact if you offend her, she will still tell you sorry... She really suffered with my dad, the most painful aspect is that she died in may 2006 without enjoying wealth, she died of heart attack, i think... Her death hurts me till today...mum i am dedicating this first place to you. May you rest in peace and may you rest in the bosom of the lord In Jesus Name. Amen...

The second person is my best friend olumide quadri adedire. This guy is a sickle cell patient. But his own is very chronic. But still, he was a fighter, he managed to live for like19 to 20 years old. This guy likes me a lot, i have never seen anyone that likes me the way he does. I have never been loved the way this guy loves me by any of my friend. He will always be my best friend unless someone can do more than what quadri has done for me, which i doubt is impossible. This guy is not stingy. He could spend his last cash on me. He could share his food money into half for me. There was even a day i was very thirsty, he bought water for me. And i have been asking people to buy water for me then, they were all giving me excuse... Dear olumide quadri adedire, i miss you badly and i am sorry for the way i offended you then by shouting on you at times and by not allowing you to cone to my house sometimez...i am really sorry if i have offended you anyway, please forgive me, i was childish then. May your soul rest in perfect peace...amen

The third person is daddy junior, i dnt knw why, i just miss this man...may your soul rest in peace.

I remember telling my mom to go home that Dad was resting even when he had given up the ghost. I couldn't cry because she's figure it out, a church brother (God bless him) drove her home to go and prepare clothes for my dad while I was preparing to ride the corpse to the mortuary.. my God!! The strength of God!! The strength of God!

However pained I still am, I'm comforted he's in a better place as 3 days later in the dream he was waiting for me at the front of our house telling me he's resurrected and has seen his wife and siblings... Sometimes we talk in the dream

His wake keep brought about 500 well wishers.

Hmmm! Dad died and I was the only one at home with him at the moment. I knew something was wrong cos he doesn't spend up to 2 mins in the bathroom so he stayed longer and because of the sound of the running shower I thought he was washing like he always did so I went in. Few minutes later I went back to check and he was still there so I decided to call him to make sure but he didn't answer that was when I knew something was wrong. I tried to open the door that was made of iron but couldn't so i took a chair climbed to see what was wrong that was when I saw my dad lying on the floor. My legs were wobbly and I feel off the chair. I later stood up and ran downstairs to see if I can find a man to help me but nobody cos they've all gone to work. I then went to the street looking for men to help me force the door open. I later found some guys that helped me while I looked for taxi to take him to the hospital. All these happened when I was just 16. It was horrible, I almost ran mad when my dad was pronounced dead. God knows I tried but what can I say and who am I to question God. Mom wasn't around because my sister gave birth the day before and my mom too died three years ago. I'm still standing because of God. I'd never pray for such an experience to my enemy. It's horrible. Two years ago just after mom's burial, when I was thinking that God had given me something to wipe my tears because I found out the baby i was carrying is a girl.she too left but in all, I give God the glory.

Jesus, pls I hope God gives you and your family the fortitude to bear this great tragic adversity. What a pity. I'm sorry for the loss

Hmmmmm.... It was my Aunt, she died in January 2013... I stayed with her in the hospital all through Christmas and New year after a successful surgery and she was getting better.

On that fateful day, i woke up to the good news that they will be discharging her from hospital the following day, I was so happy and called her children to inform them while also planning to go and make my hair in preparation for school resumption.

She stood up to go to toilet, I followed her and was gisting with her ...all of a sudden, she couldn't move forward nor backward, i looked straight to her eyes and it has turned white , screamed out for help cos I was the one supporting her on stand and she became so heavy. The nurses came around and helped her back to her room.
I was there and the nurse checked her pulse and said mum is dead. I couldn't believe till now that she died just like that .

oh yes, I Loss my mother on the 4th of January 2020. this year it was really painful, till now am still pain of losing her to death. and as long as i leave i don't think i will get out of the painful situation the i pass through. as i always asked my how they when loss their mother. may her soul rest in perfect peace. missed you mama.

It totally hurt like newly open scar each time we loss a love one or remember the gud time we guys spent together. Just as it is said THE HAPPIER MEMORY THE DEEPER IT HURTS.
