Italian Serie A champions Juventus have joined the plethora of clubs interested in signing Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.

The Daily Mail claims the Lille striker has strong interest from Juventus and Inter Milan as well as Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton and Leicester City.

Osimhen was earlier valued at more than 80 million euros by Lille chiefs but it is a foregone conclusion that he will cost less than that amount because of the huge sums clubs are losing as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can report that Juventus previously held talks with Osimhen and his camp in January 2016 and brought one million euros (N430 million) in cash to Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, thinking it would be enough to sign the 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner.

And despite upping their offer to two million euros, the bid was rejected by Ultimate Strikers, who claimed they had already reached an agreement with Wolfsburg.

Leicester City are looking to sign a backup striker for Jamie Vardy next season and have Osimhen on their radar, while the Lille number seven fueled speculation that he could be open to a move to Everton after he was spotted wearing a Toffees jersey last month.

The bolded are the only moves I would endorse

Nigerian duo, Cyriel Dessers and Chidera Ejuke have been included in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Season after the league was brought to an abrupt end following the decision by the Dutch government to ban all sporting events until September, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Both players were impressive for their respective clubs in the 2019-2020 season, which was recently cancelled by the KNVB.
Dessers scored 15 goals and recorded five assists, while Ejuke contributed nine goals for SC Heerenven.

In a publication by nederlands-voetbal, with a favoured 4-3-3 formation, the Nigerians were joined by Berghuis at the front.

Explaining why both players were preferred in their positions, the website wrote, “Cyriel Dessers in Almelo in recent months, almost every shot was a hit.

“Chidera Ejuke (SC Heerenveen), Okay, Bryan Linssen, Quincy Promes and Oussama Idrissi scored more often. But the most attractive left winger of the Premier League really played football at SC Heerenveen this season. So, Chidera Ejuke, good example of scouting work by the Frisians.”

Both are good news ,if they don’t sign ighalo then we all will be happy to have osimhen there

But I don’t trust any of those team except at least a striker is leaving there

I do not think Ndidi failed MRI due to being overage but excess training. If you read about his early days with Ugbade, you will notice how tedious the training Ndidi faced and how some players gave up because they could not deal with it.

You can see in the excerpt below, Ndidi looked even smaller than his peers while growing.

“Ugbade is one of the biggest names in African football,” Africa-based sports journalist Oluwashina Okeleji tells BBC Sport.

“His opinion is respected and if he speaks to you, you listen. There is no limit with him. No excuses. He is a hard trainer but will not stretch you beyond your ability.”

Still, the tough training was too much for some but, as a skinny teenager who was also smaller than his peers, Ndidi felt such a work ethic would benefit him.

‘Take the ball and pass’ – keeping it simple pays dividends
The discipline he developed from being coached by Ugbade meant he treated every game equally – competitive or friendly – and his big chance to impress the wider world came in a tournament in Nigeria, where international scouts were watching.

https://bestchoicesports.com.ng/how-nduka-ugbade-disvovered-wilfred-ndidi-europes-top-tackler-at-leicester/

Same thing I feel happened with Maduka Obinwa who despite being within the age limit failed the MRI scan.
looking at this picture anybody who still insist that Wilfred ndidi is overage needs his head examined

I don drag age matter before ,but it’s of no use

If player say e be 18 just take it or leave it as your opinion doesn’t matters and na wetin Dey him passport FIFA go accept officially

Most of our players self na their wife Dey expose most of them ,I am not saying a man can’t get married to a older woman ooo ,player go tell you say e be 19 but the wife na 26

If you know you know ,no need to drag as such arguement got no ending

South Americans are the biggest age cheat

Look at how our football is progressing due to the MRI ,we now have real young players in the eagles unlike the time of taye Taiwo ,and some others U20 U17 sets with the likes of old man Onazi and co grin

Nobody said he is the Messiah of Nigerian football. All we said was there was hanky panky in selection of players.

Why am I even given you explanation since you don't believe any good can come outside your region? Swerve!
