Good evening everyone,

I noticed the last draw from the pool was just for CEC.

Do they generally select from FST, FSW, CEC or PN? Or they rotate the four type of application, bi monthly?
It is the current predicament of the world that paved way for specific draws. Prior to covid-19 era, IRCC conducted general draws and most of these classes are usually eligible. They conduct FST-only draws sometimes but not often. Covid-19 has changed the dynamics and they seem to be interested in people that have been to Canada for work/studies and people that are in Canada at the moment.

Let's hope everything mellows in the coming weeks, hopefully, we will get to see general draws again.

I don't think anyone has been able to. I was supposed to travel on 27th March, the flight was cancelled until further notice.

Please guys,

Do I need an affidavit in addition to a gift deed as POF?

Who knows where I can get my gift deed done in Lagos (island if possible).

Thanks

No one knows for sure but i think both you and the person gifting you the money should separately depose to Affidavits at the Federal High Court Registry. The Affidavits should expressly state that the funds are unencumbered and given of the Donor's free will. There are numerous Notary Public on Lagos Island who can do this for you.

Please and please, make sure your Deed, as well as Affidavits are well worded and are not ambiguous. Best of luck!

i did not notorise along with many of my friends. It was never an issue. Just get the format on page1 edit and sign thats all. To show them the gift deed is genuine provide cheque from gifter/transfer slip or your bank statement showing inflow from gifter with a suitable narration e.g ' papa vera1001 gift' and use marker or photo editor to circle it

Good morning nursechin. I'll advise you read through Pages 1 and 2, after which should you still have any grey area, more knowledgeable people will be willing to help.

Callmenursechin:
Please I need help. I am a nurse and wish to relocate to Canada for work purposes. How do I begin, and what are the processes involved. Which body will verify my diploma and degree certificates and what exams do I need to take?

All international flights have been suspended due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, COPR can't exempt anyone from this policy.

Most March 16 COPR can land in Canada. So once Nigeria opens its borders, people should be able to land

Good day, please, I want to ask if WES Canada or any other ECA verifies CIPM or NIPR certificate as a professional certificate. I have a degree in mass-communication and I currently work as a HR assistant. I want to know this so I can process it and make use of it in Canadian express entry.

WES evaluates CIPM as a three years bachelor's degree. Please send along with your Bsc. It will count as 2 or more Certificates

”contact your provider (bank) for assistance” it’s possible you have to activate your card for online payment

I know for certain that GTbank has stopped transactions that involve the usage of their DCC (Dynamic Currency Converter) system. Maybe First Bank followed suit. Try Access Bank card, should be fine.

good day. please after the transcript was sent to CES by LASU, were you required to scan and send transcripts again yourself?
omidan21:
For those using CES And always come here to ask for questions and to confirm if anyone has used let me drop this Update

I helped my sister in the UK process her transcript for evaluation using CES

Opened a CES account and made payment 23rd November 2019

I had made payment for the school Transcript a week before this though . LASU I cldnt afford the 28k LASU verification payment for WES it’s outrageous and ridiculous hence jejerly has to use CES

CES sent an email 9th January 2020, confirming to me that they received the transcript from LASU 29th November . The email they sent had this message (. The estimated processing time is based upon this acceptance date. This excludes the University Year-End closure from Saturday, December 21, 2019 to Sunday, January 5, 2020. ) which means they start working on the transcript from when the transcript is delivered there and not from when you created account

Yeap let me give LASU thumbs up in this regard they are always fast in processing transcript . My transcript reached ICES when I did mine two years ago exactly one to two weeks my hubby reached IQAS also under same time frame same 2018 and this standard is still being maintained

So we didn’t get any update from CES again until yesterday April 14th that it’s being completed and soft copy of the outcome was sent to email while the hard copy wld be sent to the Canada address We filled when this whole COVID is over cause they said dispatches are not operating . The outcome came out Positive BSC was evaluated 4 year University Degree BSC Canada equivalents

So in Summary Processing time was 17 weeks Two days , probably it wld ve been lesser If COVID didn’t delay operations and if we didn’t send around University Year End Closure Saturday, December 21, 2019 to Sunday, January 5, 2020. )cause these period they dont work

Many thanks! But I don't have access bank card. Did GTbank stop it because of the pandemic or what could it be?

Yes, they stopped because of the pandemic.

For the Access Bank Card, you can walk into any of their branches, open an account and get the card instantly.

Yes o, been awhile. Not much has happened. Corona had already started around that period. Ordered GCMS notes again. File had gone to Hong Kong in January and it is back in Accra again.

OND & HND = two certificates.
Additional certificate will add no points unless you have a Master's certificate.

tunlapapa:

And people fail to understand that you ONLY need another qualification when you don't have at least a master's degree or OND/HND. Getting another certificate with these WON'T give extra points.
