I have no idea of the refrigerant pressure as I don't have a gauge, the car has a history of leakage though so it is possible that it's out of gas.

That sensor terminals are facing downwards, special tools will be needed to probe further.

Many thanks for your help, I will just take it to a shop when the lockdown is over.

Clutch functions are disabled when pressure drops below 15psi.

Hi Gazzuzz,
Posting this here so it may also benefit others. Due to lock down, I had some time to look at the performance of my cars.
Car is a 2011 Kia cerrato. Auto.
The car stays in open loop no matter how long I drive or idle
No error codes. No check engine light.
My scanner says 'open loop due to insufficient engine temperature".
Fan is factory. Thermostat was replaced last year with an 87 deg thermostat.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
Car starts and idles fine. Although every once in a while it will act as if it misfired for a second in one cylinder. This happens randomly.

The body parts are scarce. Apart from that it's shares a lot of parts with Honda.

Oga GAZZUZZ, I loyal scatter!

Thanks for all the good job you are doing here, I'm following and learning.

Boss please I have this 2001 Lexus lx470 that started giving out heavy puff of white smoke on cold start up. It stays like that until after the engine has warmed to about 1/4 or so. It just started mysteriously after I tried to replace the front passenger shock because it wasn't bouncing.

I've personally done some basic preliminary checks:

1.
Scanned with Delphi DS150e scanner, only one error code related to coolant temperature which was expected because thermostat has been removed long ago.

2.
Checked pcv valve for clogging but it wasn't. The ball valve was audibly shaking when I shook it. Though I still went ahead and cleaned the small deposits of carbon.

Please can you give me direction of what you think might be the cause of this?

The engine is 2UZ-FE

Dear Gazzuzz and other auto gurus,
I got to my car to drive off to work yesterday morning

I always do routine check b4 starting.
I noticed the 2 droplet spot of oil just below the engine region.
This is the first time I am seeing since I traveled 6 times on Lagos-ibadsn express way during this lockdown.(some portion of the road are very bad for plying cars and tried to reduce speed to avoid thing like this)
I have checked my oil level of my engine oil and gear oil. Both still within range.
Servicd the car on Feb 29 hence it was due for servicing on may 29(3 month gap).
However with this I intend servicing it earlier with a week or two.
There are currently no Unusual check light on dashboard.
Pls based on ur experience what's do you forsee I look out for and what's ur advice.
Would appreciate any informed inputs sirs and ma's.
Car is Toyota Corolla sport 2006 and engine is 1zzfe.
Pictures attached.

The Yaris.

Excuse me sir
Can you share your reason for choosing Toyota yaris 2008 over Hyundai Elantra 2009.

Is it because it’s a Toyota or is there other issues?

Hello house, good day. Changed my volkswagen jetta front shocks yesterday to new ones, my mechanic and i discovered the spring at the right leg was broken so we decided to get another one. But after fixing I noticed that the right leg was longer than the left and my mechanic is saying this is okay. I know it is not because it was not like that. Please how can this be rectified? First picture is the left side which is okay and the second is the right side which I believe is not okay

Hello House.

I have been using toyota corolla 2003 for a while now with ni any engine problems. Toward the ending of Feb, the hose of my auto engine fuild got scratched by one of the pulley and the oil wasted away. I just stop to buy petrol and to move was difficult, I came down to check I saw oil every where and Mechanics in d fuel station helped me to change the hose and asked me to buy this attached for auto gear fluid.

Since then have been using the car without problems. Since lockdown, I have not been going far. Today I went far, I noticed when slowed down for traffic light, the car won't pick quickly, I will accelerate down and move slowly b4 the accelerator read up quickly by moving d car at hight speed and I will release my leg to go minimum.

Please what can be the issue. Tanks

IF am correct, what leaked out that time was your power steering oil. It has nothing to do with your current problem.

When you try to accelerate, do the Rpm move up or just stagnant?

It's was the gear oil. The car was not move again then, was just moving reverse only then.
