It is very unfortunate that some people are comparing maiduguri with Aba. It shows lack of knowledge or some Yorubas and Hausa are just writing base on hatred.

Aba is known to produce many things that people use in Nigeria.

Maiduguri is known for Boko haram, wonder what brought the comparison here.
My brother not just that!

Aba is not even the capital of Abia! Umuahia is the capital of Abia! So if anyone wants to compare state capitals, it should be Maiduguri versus Umuahia!

It's just that Abia people don't have time for all these "dick measurement" we see in Nairaland because they are busy making money! The Anambra son of a guy is not even from Abia! But seeing how Afonjah and Aboki riff-raffs tarnishes the image of Abia here at every opportunity, he had to jump in!

Otherwise, they would have gone to snap pictures of government estates and and good roads in Umuahia just as the Arewa dunce is doing here!

By the way, Abia is an oil producing state; what does Borno produce apart from boko haram?!!!!!

thank you sir!

We'll continue exposing their lies!!

You can see how he's busy posting federal roads and private estates and even posting some part of rivers. The only manageable places in the east... Is Awka the capital of Anambra state and Owerri
80% of the east is a complete shithole!!

If you've been to the east....especially states like Abakiliki and Abia you'll weep for the east!!

I have been to the 5 igbo state... Zamfara the poorest and least developed state in the north.. Is more developed than Abia state!

These same will come online to tell you they developed kano and Lagos!
Please I enjoin you to go back to all the pictures that Anambra Son posted and show us any picture of Rivers State with proof!

If you don't do that, shame is your portion and you will be known forever as a bloody liar!!

You can't see me attacking northern states or their people because majority of them respect themselves here, but I realized the idiot has found ways attacking southeast in any given opportunity, tell me what's Aba business with this thread and you expect me to look and pass? It's not possible, when you respect yourself I will return the respect back, you can't drag my people down and expect me to give you handshake or smile and look other way.
But you started the comparison, didn't you? You came to derail the thread by comparing Maiduguri with Aba/Abia.

The north should give kudos to niger Delta. The show off wouldn't have been possible without their crude oil.
The Niger Delta should also show off what they have and have done with the 13% derivation and federal allocation they collect from the Federal Government every month.

Modern beautiful Maiduguri - like all northern Town's and cities.

Nigeria, the country where wealth is produced in the south, but modern development infrastructures are abundant in the north. No thanks to Igbo vs Yoruba disagreement.
It's not as a result of any disagreement but the irresponsibility of the Southern governors in using their resources gotten from the monthly federal allocation and 13% derivation for 21 years of democracy to develop their states.

Guess what nigga, the conperism is based on core north and south east and while arewa is posting pictures of how bad your cities your brother is busy posting villages in the north and calling it undeveloped, I will surely do my diggings on Eastern villages
He is not even posting villages but IDP camps, as if that is the only thing that exists in Maiduguri or the entire Borno state.

It was not the OP that started it.. ahiboilandgas was the person who mentioned Abia and the OP told him not to bother. Look at it now.
You should have cautioned ahiboilandgas and not start an e-fight with the OP.
And please be civil... don't resort to abuse by calling somebody Otondo. I never abused you in all my comments to you in this thread. At the end, you were wrong even in the 1st page you asked me to go and look at, after abusing me.
Nice night.

There is huge difference with what u hear about Maiduguri and the reality
Genuine and smart observation.

Unfortunately, that is the condescending role of promoting bigotry that the Southern media preoccupies herself with just to discredit the existing 'northern administration'.

Perhaps, it is a 'do me, I do you' system, as the South lays claim to the same treatment by the North during the last administration.

That is why I always urge people to visit and find things out for themselves firsthand.

Oh much better answer. I thought kanuri was dominant as the largest minority in the North. I saw "kasuwan" something in the picture of one road and I know that should be hausa was why I asked
Largest minority in the north should be a close call between Kanuris & Tivs.

Many Kanuris cannot speak Hausa, especially those in the rural areas and towns outside Maiduguri.

It is Southern Borno & Adamawa people in Maiduguri that promote Hausa language there. Together with the Hausa settlers.

Concocting lies and fake analysis just to divide the north!

I stopped replying him when I discovered that he's just a religious and tribal bigot... Who has strong hatred for the north!

if you figure out the definition of Development, there's no basis for comparison between Abia and Borno.

in as much as I'm an economist, and I know what developments are, Abia is far ahead of Borno.
you can't use roads, flowers to judge on development criterials. Abia mate those criterials but it's major challenge is the state of roads in its main city Aba.

Rivers is not Igbo land but Kaduna is Hausa fulani land right?
Are you sure you are a normal human being?
LMAO! I see you have finally run mad! Kaduna is and always will be a hausa fulani city because the hausa fulanis are the dominant ethnicity there. Kaduna as far as we are concerned is the successor state to zazzau. Anyone who believes otherwise is because burkutu has eaten his brain.

Always on our case like we owe you money! what is your business with us? what gives you the right? You come here spreading lies about us because you are obsessed with us. I saw you on another thread claiming jukuns occupied kano so kano has many people of JUkun origin. LMAO! The only jukuns in Kano must be descendants of slaves. Let me give you a history lesson; The kwararafa has sacked kano, on three ocassions actually but it has never occupied it as a sovereign nation. In all ocassions, Kano was undergoing civil war within the factions of its kings and wars with more relevant hausa states. On one such occassions, when your savage people attacked kano, the ruling class simply migrated to daura and allowed you morons to take an empty city knowing you savages are incapable of holding a form of proper conquest. Rightfully so, you clowns looted and withdrew to your bushes. Meanwhile the Kano aristocracy returned and continued their war on the relevant foe, the katsinawas while preserving their forces.

You should also know the history of how the Kwararafa ended, How Borno butchered and dismantled them and sent their men back with their ears hanged around their necks. Listen here middlebeltan, descendant of slaves, you will never eclipse the mighty north. We all have our places on this earth and yours will forever be beneath us.

Are Maiduguri or Kaduna Hausa fulani cities? Why don't you post Sokoto, Katsina, Gusau, Birnin Kebbi or Dutse?
His name is Arrewa, not hausa or fulani so he can post pictures of whichever northern city he pleases. Your hatred for the hausa fulanis will kill you. Kazamin banza!
