mitchyy:

250g flour
250g butter
250g sugar(I reduced the quantity a bit)
5 eggs
1 tbsp Baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 sachets of milk

That's all I used. I baked with a pot using low heat. Just make sure you mix your butter and sugar till it's very fluffy and light. I mixed for about 30mins. Tiring but it helped my cake come out right

Thanks a bunch kiss

symbianDON:

here you go grin

Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
half cup of sugar
one tsp dry yeast
half sachet Simas butter (or suitable alternative)
one cup water
half tsp salt
half cup of powdered milk

Method:
Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl with the exception of the yeast which must first be proofed. Proof the yeast by adding a little quantity of water to it and leaving it to stand for 10minutes. Add the proofed yeast to the dry ingredients mix and then add in the melted butter. Melt the butter by using a double boiler (a cup in a pot of water). Add the well whisked eggs and the water. Knead for 10minutes. Cover in a bowl and let it rest for one hour. If properly done, you should observe that the dough has risen considerably. Punch the dough to remove air. Knead again and then form into balls as desired in your baking pan. Leave to rest for 30minutes and then bake at moderate heat in your preheated oven. Baking should last 30-45minutes. Your bread is ready!
Thanks, will try this soonest and let you know how it turns out.
How many eggs for the recipe? I noticed the qty wasn't mentioned but it was added to the mix.

He tried.

I’m not even that good at bread making
He did a good job! I'm trying an Italian bread. I'll post when it's ready

BlueRayDick:

How did u achieve this shape for cutting the yam? I only see this shape in those ready to fry pack they sell in stores.

I was thinking they use special machine or something to cut it this way just like French fries.
First, I cut the yam in small round shapes. Then peel the skin and cut into long strips. It's that easy. I hope you understand
