I don't mean to sound like a pessimist, 3 face masks are sold for #100 among the locales in Ibadan.

Almost every household has someone that made face masks for them,this is for commercial purposes and we need to appreciate it.

Yes. Cloth masks are reusable. All you need to do is wash and sun dry them.

I think I need to make something clear. This agency was not created because of the Coronavirus. It has existed for sometime and Sam Hart was appointed as the DG sometime last year. They don't only make facemasks. They make boots for the Nigerian Army and the NYSC, uniforms for various military and paramilitary organisations and other clothes and footwear.

I think what Nigeria is doing now is to take things slowly while community transmission continues and people die secretly (eg, the deaths in Kano)

Either way, it's a difficult situation because no external bodies or countries is willing to help at the moment. Yes, they all have Covid-19 to deal with
